This was the ideal place for a late lunch with excellent service and food. As you would expect it was not inexpensive but this is partly due to the location and the international chain. Great food and air conditioning that is most definitely welcome after the blazing heat of visiting Petra and the World Heritage site.

Stayed at Marriott Petra for one night with my wife and two kids. We were welcomed by the reception and checked in within 5 minutes. The receptionist apologized for not having two connected rooms but made up for that by giving us two adjacent rooms with amazing views, and in room free wifi. The hotel lies about 3 km from... More

Having breakfast overlooking the breathtaking landscape of Wadi Musa is priceless. The most beautiful views ever!! The expanse of the landscape will just amaze you and take away from the fact that the hotel is very miserly when it comes to their breakfast spread!! Everything else is amazing about the hotel...location, staff, rooms, decor. A definite stop for the wear... More

Our room was large, comfortable and the view in the morning out of our window was truly spectacular. The staff were friendly and courteous, yes the drinks are expensive but we experienced that over most of Jordan, Great location as the entrance to Petra is only 10-15 minutes away by car. We found the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet perfectly... More

A lovely Marriott with great views of the valley and Aaron's Tomb. Wonderful bedding, nice staff, delicious breakfast. We came in late and order room service and it was delicious. It is about a 10 minute drive from the entrance to Petra.

Room noisy from main road, air conditioning faulty, breakfast poor, dinner poor. Service surly and rude. Check bills, they added someone else's bar bill to mine, then refused to remove it. Expensive for food and drink £4 for a 250ml coke? £9 for a 330ml beer. Avoid.

Cant really add much more to the good reviews this hotel gets but it deserves it. Great customer service, Mr. Hassan at the front desk was very helpful, he gave us a warm welcome and checked with us if everything is fine, the most beautiful view I ever seen, we really had a wonderful stay, thank you Marriott.

This was my first time to stay in Petra for two nights, I've only passed by Petra on my way to Aqaba before. I was told to stay in Marriott Petra for it being very close to the Petra City and for having spectacular views which is an understatement to how breath taking the view was. Service was very good... We stayed here for two nights as part of a trip through Gate 1 Travel. We were very impressed! The view of the mountains from the dining room and lobby area were amazing. If it had been warmer, I am sure it would have been so neat to swim and have the mountains as the backdrop. Our tour guide said... More

Typical of what you'd expect from the Marriott: comfy rooms and good service. The location allows great view of the mountain range. Petra is a short drive away, allowing travellers to be far enough from the town to relax in a quiet setting after a long trek through the ancient valley.
