I could describe the hotel as a piece of heaven - romantique, small, cosy, on top of the hill offering amazing view to its guests. Every detail has been taken care of and there are so many inviting places where you can just sit, enjoy the view while sipping a glass of wine. Of course it is spotless clean, the... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Petra Hotel very much! After a long, hot day of traveling we were greeted with a glass of refreshing hibiscus juice. Our room was both comfortable and beautiful. We chose to eat all of our meals at the Marriott. It was a blessing to have a good breakfast before our long day visiting... More

The view alone is worth the 5 stars! The hotel felt nearly empty being off-season, so our two nights watching the sunset were quite peaceful besides being absolutely stunning. The rooms are recently renovated and spacious. The first floor atrium is especially impressionable. No gym here, but I felt quite safe running up the mountain road in the morning for... More

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The view from our room was picturesque. It was a nice detour from my tour of the country. Very peaceful and relaxing The mountains are beautiful. We didn't spend much time at the hotel but the staff were nice and we enjoyed the food there.

The hotel is away from the main Wadi Musa town and Petra visitor centre. If you want quick access to the Petra visitor center, then this place is not recommended. However , if you can live with a 15 minute drive , you will get some out of the world views of the hills ringing Petra , especially at Sunset.... More

I had a two-night stay at this property using my Marriott Rewards points, after I left the tour group. When I decided that I was going to spend a second day at Petra, it only made sense to book at a hotel in Petra, rather than returning with the tour group to the Dead Sea area and returning to Petra... Not a typical Marriott. First of all the location is difficult to find if you are traveling alone outside a guided tour, most of the clientele appear to arrive on organized excursions. The one sign- not corporate Marriott is not illuminated at night and set back several yards away from the nearest junction in the town- 3.5km away from the... More

The view is amazing. Beautiful sunsets over the mountains. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Food was good although not great. Nice staff. Not much else around the area so you must use the hotel for all meals. If visiting Petra ruins a great place, this hotel is a good place to stay

I was lucky enough to secure a one-night stay at the Marriott in Petra, Jordan. We were upgraded to a fabulous suite and we had a very comfortable stay. The service at the hotel is amazing - the staff are very friendly and professional. Breakfast was included, and the food was okay. The room overlooked the swimming pool and the... More

This hotel was not too bad but I don't think it was worth what we paid. We booked a mountain view but it was more a pool view. The hotel is about 4km outside wadi musa town. The mountain view is beautiful but I couldn't pick out any petra sites. The buffet dinner was ok, nothing great but the staff... More
