Not quite up to the quality of the other 2 Marriott's in Jordan but still pretty good and would recommend for the price (we paid £60 per night and stayed 3 nights). The views from this hotel are awesome and i would definately chose this location as to Wadi Musa. Its only a 5 Dinar taxi ride and 10 minutes... more

Because my husband has Marriott points, we stayed in all three Marriotts in Jordan, and of the three this was my least favorite. But that in no way means I didn't like the hotel - I did. As others have said, this hotel is a little ways from the "tourist strip" and entrance to Petra, but because of that it... more

The Petra Marriott was the best hotel during our trip through Israel and Jordan. The staff was very nice. The hotel is at the top of the valley and not right at the entrance to Petra, but it has a stunning view of the valley, especially at sunset. You can sit out by the pool or on the deck and... more

I stayed here on an overnight with a small tour group. When we arrived, there was some confusion due to how our tour company had booked us, and the staff was unable to find our names or reservations. Even though they had no reason to think we were supposed to stay there, the staff was extremely helpful and polite, and... more

A great hotel with spectacular sunset (and sunrise!) views over the mountains. A little way out from Petra but easily accessible by taxi. Disappointed that there was not ATM and that the pool was not working. Service was very good though reception staff a little disorganised. more

Everything in this hotel was perfect, and my husband and I travel internationally quite a bit. Staff was gracious, the food was good, the amenities were all you could ask for --don't miss the oil massage! I hope to return to Petra some day and there is no other hotel I'll stay at. more

We found the room and hotel very clean and comfortable. Prices were high, especially wine and cocktails. All waiting/bar staff very helpful and cheerful. Not so the front desk. Failed to deliver two important faxes, and had no idea about checking out early., neither did they seem to have a good grasp of English - more important here than in... more

we stayed here for 3 nights arriving just after sunset. we'd rented a car and agree that you need one (or taxis) to get to petra from this hotel but the views from here are stunning. we learnt at check-in that, although we reserved a non-smoking room, the only non-smoking floor is also the only floor without a view! luckily... more

This is a very ordinary hotel and the staff are pretty hopeless. Typical example. We were travelling with young children. When we arrived the pool was only half full. When will it be open? May be tomorrow was the answer. When pushed it turned out that it would not be open until May. So why lie? There is no gym... more

I stayed at the Marriott Petra for two nights on a visit to Jordan. The hotel is located outside the town of Wadi Musa, and is a bit of a hike to the town itself. The views from the hotel are amazing and a nice introduction to the entire Petra experience. Since the hotel is a bit isolated, we ate... more
