Hotel in the heart of Petra , owner/ operator on premise. She hooked us up with wonderful packed lunches for our daily adventures . Great views of mountains and the city. Actually it was priceless. . Enjoyed my stay that a return trip will be planned. Hot water in the region is a luxury , so quick showers a must... More

The place is decent and is situated close by (5km approx) from the Petra visitors center. The rooms are decent not one of the best. The only issue is with the hotel staff, not too flexible, so we had a tough time with them. But overall its a decent place to stay overnight.

My partner and I checked into this hotel in mid october 2015 whilst backpacking through the middle east. We chose this hotel predominantly for its location 5 mins drive from the historical Petra site and also for its spectacular views. We arrived by local bus early one morning from Wadi Rum. The bus station is a 10-15 min walk down... More

Hi there - have thought about your comments for awhile. Really sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. There were a few days in October when I was not in the hotel...I suspect this is why you didn't see me as I normally talk to everyone. First of all, I prefer people to tell me if they have something bothering them... More

We had a dreadful experience here. We were supposed to be staying at the affiliated seven wonders camp however the snow had caused a number of the structures to collapse. We were transferred to this hotel and had bad experience after bad experience. The room was cold and damp with bad water pressure and hairy sheets... We had a bad... More

Dear "Delicious", even though this was 12 months ago I remember you well. We had to come and get you in a 4x4 when you got stuck with your vehicle in the snow at a hotel in Shobak. Rocky Mountain Hotel is a bit away from the visiting spot, you have to walk half an hour to get there. Fortunately they offer free transfer twice a day in the morning (7:30/8:30) and back in the afternoon (16/17:00). The hotel itself is very basic, small clean rooms, nothing special. When the nights are cold you can turn on the... More

While this is not like staying at a 5-star hotel with lots of amenities, this hotel provides quality service, good breakfast, excellent optional dinner (when enough guests are eating in; it is catered from a local restaurant at a reasonable price), plenty of hot water for showering, and a comfortable bed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are convenient (good matress, enough blankets, warm shower) and the restaurant/terrace with great view and real Arabic food (mansaf or falafel) and shisha was an unexpected bonus. Great value for your money!

Hotel is economic and their services are excellent. Food is nice as well. Jane will make sure that you have everything you need. Petra visitor's centre is not very far, walking takes 15-20 mins while a taxi takes 3JD.

Very nice hotel, the Bedouin "tent" roof top restaurant is excellent. Nice helpful staff, good food in the restaurant. We stayed here the day before our trip to Petra. The hotel offers free wifi and free parking.

Very good view from the terrace, excellent food. Very helpful service and good location. Do take your time to visit Petra , a 4 to 5 day trip is must to explore Petra fully. Loved my visit to Petra. A must visit.
