We arrived late in the evening, when it was dark. They had a wonderful buffet of home-cooked food all prepared for us. It was fantastic. One of the best meals I had on my entire trip. So tasty and healthy and home-made. Breakfast was just as good. Meals are served in a long tent, probably 15 feet wide by 40... More

Great place to stay with transport available to Petra and pick up in the evening. Good local food, breakfast etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Recommended. Tents are simple but comfortable. It was very cold when we were there during April so take warm cloths.

We stayed 2 nights at the campsite with a group of 12! It was a fantastic stay! The lodgings are simple but comfortable and neat, the food was plentiful and tasty, tea brewed over the fire sipped with local music whilst sitting under the stars against an ethereal backdrop was a wonderful experience! Thanks Artiff for hosting us! Tip: Remember... More

Our tour group of 16 was running late, so it was nearly 10 pm by the time we arrived at the camp. It was beautifully lit and the temps in late April could not have been more perfect. We had a few bites of dinner, a really fast rinse off in the shower and spent the last 15 minutes desperately... More

We spent two nights here mid-April to visit Petra. The rooms (tents) are simple and small, the toilets and showers are simple and clean. Hot water is available in the evening only as is electricity and wifi (only in and around the "lounge"-tent). Our second night was quite windy and we were both wearing our fleece-jackets in bed. The hosts... More

This is a would-be bedouin camp. Don't make the mistake of staying here after you have already stayed at a camp in the Wadi Rum desert. If you do it the other way round, I can imagine , you will like it. If not, you may feel disappointed. You won't get the same unique feeling despite the cosy lights that... More

Ouch! A "would-be" bedouin camp!........my bedouin husband and all his bedouin family members who together run the camp were taken aback at such a description. They cook bedouin food; serve bedouin tea that steams away on the fire; provide bedouin seating in bedouin beit shars; provide bedouin mattresses in the dabka circle which is heated with a fire; and the... A short drive from the magnificent Petra site, away from the touristy buzz, you find a unique accommodation provided by the local, friendly and extremely hospitable Bedouins. Staying at the camp gives an added value to your Petra stay, enabling you to experience it deeper, closer to the nature, Bedouin life and local culture. At the same time, the camp... More

This camp is a quaint family owned and operated camp just outside Wadi Musa. It is rough and rustic, but clean and comfortable. The rock wall light up at night and the food is really good. Towels, linens and blankets are all clean, but the beds are very simple sheets of plywood topped with foam. Not the most comfortable. The... More

My husband and I were a little nervous staying at the camp, but in the end we had a great time! It's a special experience you can't have at any other hotel. The food was great, the tents were clean, and the showers worked well enough. The WIFI connection (between 8 and 10 PM) was not strong enough, but hey... More

This is not only a great place to put your head down to rest at the end of the day, but is an experience. I would stay here again anytime over any hotel. Food was great, view was spectacular, hospitality was second to none, food was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. There was singing and dancing. Relaxing by the fire with... More
