We stayed here in late-July for 5 nights and loved it. Gail and her husband, Ibrahim, are wonderful and their hotel is one of the best budget options in Jordan. We got the private double-bed room with ensuite bathroom. It was clean & very well decorated with a fan (which was plenty to keep it cool). There isn't wi-fi in... More

I loved my stay here with my friends, the best part is that the owner of the place is very knowledgeable and understanding toward the tourist requirements and have services that makes one’s stay here comfortable. The rooms are nice, well maintained and value for money and the location is another added factor as to why the place is a... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and for the entire time we were well looked after. The breakfast, which is included in the price, provides many options and staff are happy to cook/prepare other food throughout the day. Staff were also very knowledgable on local area and arranged a taxi for us at a reasonable price, so that... More

While I was unfortunately unable to stay here (because I was not staying overnight in Petra), I did wander in with my friend who had the privilege of staying in this adorable hotel. The location is SUPER convenient to everything and the owner is the most helpful and kind person you may ever have in a hotel. She is a... More

Lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean and comfy and the breakfast was nice. Staff were understanding and accommodating when a delayed flight changed our plans at the last minute. We took the hotel's taxi service from the Eilat border crossing and stopped to admire the viewpoints on the way. Gail's tasty packed lunches (available for purchase... More

After traveling the whole day with a taxi driver who speak little English and tell me little about Jordan, it is so refreshing to check into a backpackers where Gail (I believe) speaks perfect English (I believe she is a English lady after all). She gave really helpful advice and some cheap way of traveling to dead sea resort. The... More

A clean and a cozy hotel about 20minutes walk to the Petra site. The sunset and sunrise on the hotel's terrace is fantastic. I stayed in the dorm room which was well maintained. Wifi signal is strong only at the reception area. Breakfast and lunch (took a lunch box for the site visit) was yummy. I went to Wadi Rum... More

Very good accommodation for budget travelers, cheap. Good location, just around 10 minutes walk to Petra city. Nice to sit on terrace in the evening. I liked the breakfast when they prepare traditional Jordanian pita bread with herbs. Would definately come again.

Touring with a group of friends (2+1+me), we had chosen Saba’a as a stopover on our way to Petra. While the location relative to Petra is an absolute plus for the hotel, I was quite disappointed by the quality of the room and facilities. Especially the bathroom in the room I stayed in was way below a reasonable standard (broken... More

Hello I apologise for one of the tiles on the shower floor being cracked. It happened just a couple of days earlier and we hadn't had time to repair it. The floor has now been re-tiled and we have also improved the drainage from the shower. The previous tiles were not stained - that was the pattern. Occasionally the wifi... More

My husband and I stayed at the saba'a hotel for two nights while exploring Petra and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean and cozy and the owners were so open and friendly and helpful. It's not right next to Petra but you can either walk or take a taxi for $1 JD per person and we enjoyed... More
