ok i was there back in April 2010 and my recollection of the place was good being a backpackers hostel. The single room I stayed was pretty ordinary but it was a good roof over my head which was what I only needed in Petra. After all, you're going to be out and about. Fact is I was in the... More

Dirty, extremely shabby, unhygienic and thoroughly grotty. Staff smoke in tatty sitting area and play games on computer. No hot water. Don't mind tired hostel, but this was terrible. Just don't go there!

Room was battered and not clean. Kitchen on top floor was filthy and disgusting. Hot water only offered on first night of 3. Long walks around Petra in dust, then no shower. No owner around when we wanted to ask for hot water. Had to clean our toilet before using. The owner was helpful and friendly and did book bus... More

I stayed in a private ensuite. Not worth the money. The toilet had no seat, dirty carpets, no hot water, its cold outside and heater doesn't work. Room with broken closet door. Low water pressure, toilet handle rigged with a rope.

Hot water, friendly staff, great location, great price. I would stay here again if I ever come back. Very friendly people and hospitable. Muhammad the owner called me to wish me goodbye because I came in after he went home. Happy I stayed here - jerry

This is a very low price hotel I stayed. I booked for a dorm room for 5JD a nights, but since is low season, end up they give me a single room, which is good, the location is city centre. But the downside is, the speakers is outside the window, so when the 4:30 am call for prayer, you will... More

This place is pretty standard for the price you pay. IF you need a roof over your head with some backpackers for a few nights then this is the place. The food was a plenty and was great to not have to leave to go eat. They were helpful. No issues. When we got home after a full day of... More

Come on people, don't be snobs, it's Petra - enjoy the rustic experience! Mohammad was very good about finding us a great deal to tour Wadi Rum, and stuck to his word. As for Cleanliness and Secutiry - I mean, you're in Petra, don't expect a five star hotel unless you are going to a five-star hotel. But for us... More

I stayed for two nights and my stay was nothing to get all too excited about. The service was okay, they had a nice breakfast and coffee for about 2 JED and the staff was friendly. The room was very simple and comfortable enough but I found that the mosquitoes in the room the be quite a nuisance. The location is... More

We stayed there for two nights. Receptionist didn't speak English well and since it was Ramadan he offered us a breakfast. First the price for two was 5 JD and after we eat it the price raised to 8 JD. Breakfast was nothing special...pretty much a ripoff. The room was very simple but since we didn't pay much it was...
