If you are curious about the local foods of the country that you visit, it is an obligation to eat mansaf at sunset hotel, it is delicious!!! Attention! at least 2hours before you need to inform reception, because mansaf one of the special jordan dishes and it takes 2hours to prepare the meal... believe me, after you finish your diner... It is not a luxury or very cozy hotel, but it is low budget and clean. Spending one night there is absolutely fine and the hotel is located perfectly - 3 min walk to the entrance of Petra. The beds are comfortable, the toilets clean and the breakfast very basic. For this prime location the prices are very low. I... More

The only thing that is good about this hotel is that it's near the Petra entrance (if you want to be early just a few minutes and you're right there), plus the room is cheap that comes with breakfast and also a convenience store just at the ground floor. First thing that you'll notice is that they don't have an... More

Location might be perfect, just few hundred meters from the entrance of Petra, but the room was really bad. Shower hanger was broken. Toilet was very small. The room was old. No elevator. However, breakfast was very nice, full of choice. Staffs were nice. Supermarkets just right down the hotel. However, if you dont mind walking, there are many places... More

Here you get good value for money. A short 10 min walk to the Petra main entrance, restaurants, and supermarkets are around. You pay just 2 JD to the bus station. A good breakfast are included. The rooms are ok, nothing to complain. And hot water all day along.

We got a good deal at this place for 20 dinar (= euro) per night plus breakfast. The location is excellent - a short walk to the entrance of Petra, surrounded by restaurants and a good supermarket downstairs for snacks and picnic lunches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with a carpet clean and a... More

If your in Petra for a couple of days and need a place to stay, then you cant fault Petra Sun Set Hotel for location and price. About a 10 minute walk from the entrance to Petra and on the 'main drag', so theres a few options restaurants for eating out. The accommodation is nothing flash - you get what... More

Stayed there for three nights in October and liked it very much. The single room was clean and the whole hotel was very quiet. The best part is the location, which is only five minutes away from the gate to Petra. Staff are friendly and eager to help. Breakfast is not bad with lots of bread, jams, butter and some... More

Located so conveniently from the Petra site gate/ticket booth that you don't need a taxi going or returning. Our triple room was spacious and even the bathroom too. Lots of plugs for charging your devices. Simple breakfast of pita bread, jams, hummus, hard boiled eggs, and tea. Wifi access only at the lobby. Good budget stay when visiting Petra.
