We had a buffet lunch at the hotel which had been arranged as part of an organised trip from Sharm. As vegetarians, we were so pleased to see such choice of foods, which were really tasty. It was a real feast! The catering staff were helpful and friendly. We hope to return to Petra, but to make it an overnight... More

We did not sleep in this hotel (we stayed at Petra Guesthouse) but our tour agent had booked us a lunch at this hotel. It is some 250 mt.uphill from the gate of the archeological site. The appearance is quite shabby but the food surprised us as to variety and taste. The restaurant here is definitely better than the one... More

The hotel itself is outdated, the chairs and walls are faded, the bathrooms are dirty, the TVs are fuzzy and the air conditioning we could not figure out. Even after all that the staff made the stay worth it. Wonderfully helpful and friendly and certainly try their best to make your stay comfortable. The location is great, about a block... More

This is definitely a very basic hotel but three things improve the overall impression: the staff who is very helpful, the breakfast that was better than most places we stayed in during our trip in Jordan, the closeness to the gate of Petra! The last point made it easy to start exploring Petra early morning without having to find taxis... More

We stayed there for 2 nights in october 14 (high season) The rooms are quite large, the location is convenient for visiting petra, but these are basically the only good points. As we arrived, the bedclothes were very dirty and there are hairs from the previous guests ! NO GO !!!!! In general the service was poor and the staff... More

The staff is very friendly, the owner also helpfull and knows hospitality. I had health problems and he tried evrything to help me. The breakfast was oke also the dinner. The hotel needs a bit of a update , its a bit of faded glory. BUt for a few nights its fine because the sleeps well.

Helpful staff. Wasn't the cleanest hotel I've visited. towels were small.no cleaning or towel replacement done (apparently at the request of our Guide but they gave new towels willingly. Safe didn't work at first. Shower was ok & generally had Hot water Reasonable standard breakfast. Special deal on WiFi Jd 2 for 48hrs instead of 1per hour but not great... More

This hotel was a great place to stay in Petra. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and they went to great lengths to ensure that the question we asked about directions was clearly and helpfully explained. The mauve colour could be reconsidered though as it would make the hotel look less dated but I would stay here again in... More

We were here during the low season, and consequently the only guests in the hotel. Upon entry to the 2nd floor, it seemed like it had been forgotten decades ago, and entry to the room was no different with old fluorescent lighting, dirty carpets, terrible decor, a bedside lamp that didn't work, and no hot water. The water issue was... More

We stayed there for 2 nights during our G-Adventures tour and the location is unbelievable. You are just a few minutes away from the gate leading to Petra, which makes it very convenient. The room was okay, nothing special. Some smell a bit like cigarette smoke. They have a big lobby with chairs and couches. Breakfast is the buffet type... More
