The Old-Pattern Hotel with traditional antique decorations is comparatively cheap and the location is very close to Petra. We were lucky to be allotted with room number 313 with a charming cinematic view of the Petra Mountains. We also took the packages of Breakfast and dinner as food is very costly outside . The Indian Man from Jamshedpur was very... More

If you want a convenient location on the doorstep of the Petra visitor's centre, then this will suit your needs. We just felt a little deflated by the lack of care or attention to detail. For example, I totally understand that during Ramadan the restaurant might close; however, I can't comprehend why they would leave very portable boards up next... More

The hotel was clean, affordable, and conveniently located steps away from the entrance (NOTE: do NOT purchase anything at the entrance to Petra, the prices are at least DOUBLE. Bargain and bargain hard!!!). The staff was friendly and greet you with a glass of juice when you come in (feel free to ask for a refill :). In Jordan, the... More

the good: - a short walk to the petra entrance, less than 5 minute walk - clean and well maintained rooms and facilities - friendly front desk staff the bad: - nothing really. note: the walk up to the hotel is a bit steep for it sits on top of a big slope.

We were fortunate to visit Petra - one of the seven wonders of the world, and we stayed in this hotel for two days/nights. The hotel was quite old but what we appreciated most was their remarkable hospitality. They were very accomodating and rendered friendly gesture during our stay...

THe only positive point of this Hotel is that is close to the Entrance of Petra. This hotel needs first renovation, second the staff should speak at least one inetrnational language and thrid as the worst part it was the breakfast. I have never seen something like this...also considering how much important is the breakfast when you will spent all... More

If your not expecting too much and simply need and need a place to get your head down and act as a base this is ok. Wifi sucked balls up on the third floor. The manager took a photocopy of passports as can be expected these days and low and behold he sent my partner a friend request on FB!... More

I've done this whole trip in budget hotels, which means I expect a bed and some privacy. I also expect, things not to work, crazy breakfasts and no hot water so anything is a bonus. The hospitality here is great, we arrived at 10pm and they went out of there way to make us burgers which were really good. For... More

I'm not picky. I found the room to be just fine. Comfortable, really, though the bathroom seems to be on its last legs. Between the beds, a console from the 1970s. Remember them, with radio dials? Haven't seen that in ages. It was actually fun to see. The weather in Petra was beautiful, yet the hotel seemed to be empty.... More

We stayed there 3 nights to visit Petra. The staff is nice. The room are very big and comfortable but a little bit old. The location is one of the best. Very close to Petra gate. The breakfast was very good with personalised omelette. The view from the roof is very pretty especially at sunset. The wifi was not working... More
