I got there with no reservation and it was no problem to get a room. Room was clean and big enough for myself. However there was some problems with air con which just did not want to heat. During the night Wadi Musa was cold... Had some problems with wifi on second floor. After I mention it for the forth... More

We (couple, male/female, 30, British and American) stayed with Mosleh and the team at Cleopetra for four nights in October. Having originally planned just the one night, we soon realised this was a great place to get some rest and recuperation after time on the road! Mosleh was a shining example of native Jordanian hospitality giving us a great experience... More

It was easy to find the hotel, we spotted it on the way in to Petra, so when we finished walking around during the day we knew we wouldn't have to drive around too much. Easy to walk to restaurants for dinner and parking in front of the hotel was no problem. The guys at the front desk were friendly... More

This is THE PLACE to stay in Wadi Musa for all backpackers.Very clean rooms, helpful and honest staff. Me and my wife spent 3 days there, last year and enjoyed superb hospitality and the home cooked dinners which are delicious and great value. Internet is not included in the price of the room, but for very small charge you get... More

Everything was smooth with this hotel. Booking was very simple - and you'll get a better rate if you book directly with them. The room was small, but really that wasn't an issue at all as I spent almost all my time visiting Petra. Nice double bed, good working aircon. Only 2 plugs however: one right next to the bed,... This place is fantastic. It's clean and comfortable and there are the bonuses of wifi for just 2jd for your whole stay, which reached our room, and free lifts down to Petra every day. On our last night they were hosting a home cooked meal which is incredibly good value, delicious and a great way to meet other guests. Don't... More

Mosleh was quick and helpful when replying to my e-mails and helping me to organise our stay in Petra when I went with my husband and my brother in March 2014. Mosleh and the staff were welcoming and very friendly; they gave us information on food, sites, transport, etc. Cleopetra was basic and good value; a great hotel for anyone... More

Felt really comfortable as a woman travelling alone, receptionist and owner were very kind. The rooms are clean and have AC and breakfast is included. When you are ready to go to Petra the hotel can drive you to the visitor center which would take you about 20 min. walk. They can even help you to arrange a Turkish Bath... More

Simple rooms a short drive away from Petra. The staff was very helpful--they were accommodating when we shifted around a few dates and got us cabs at good prices. Their homemade dinner was also great! Less pleasant was the neighborhood--there were few tourists there when we visited, and the locals in Wadi Musa were not exactly welcoming. The prayers broadcast... More

I stayed in Ceopetra for only one night. It was a basic but very cosy hotel. It is hard to find good honest customer service in Jordan as many tour operators, hotels and drivers are out to make a quick buck and will charge inflated prices. Cleopetra however was an exception. Mosleh the manager went above and beyond to find... More
