Lovely staff and a simple hotel with everything you need. They are very strict on their 'don't stay out later than midnight' rule! Cleopetra is in the town of Wadi Mousa, next to Petra, & the town itself is pretty uninteresting, but it's only a 15 minute walk from Petra.

The rooms and lobby are simple but you come here for the service, especially from Mosleh. He was incredibly polite and welcoming, and helped me with whatever questions I had about the area. He arranged for a me a tour to stay one night in Wadi Rum desert after I left Wadi Musa, including transportation the next day back to... More

Our Host Mosleh, who is the owner of the hotel was exceptionally helpful, and good-natured. He responded very promptly to all the emails before the trip, and helped us with the local sightseeing. He even recommended good local eateries at Amman for our city trip. His helped us travel and enjoy Jordan like a local.

Excellent service. Mosleh, will do everything to please his customers and make sure you have a nice stay. If you need a transfer or any information, he is the person to speak to. Good value for the money. They cooked food for people staying over. The hotel has small, clean rooms with aircon.

You will do no better than this family run budget hotel. The owner, Mosleh, is a superstar. (Mosleh needs to be upbeat and happy every day-even during Ramadan-apparently, he is!) The hotel has small, basic, very clean rooms. I was shown several before making my choice. Rates are reasonable and the best thing is that there are no hidden or... More

We stayed here 3 nights and it proved to be an excellent choice, great value for the money, clean rooms, aircon working properly, hot water, nothing really to complain about. Rooms are small so don't bring too much luggage. They cook for guests if they get enough people, we were unlucky (when we were willing to test ... not enough... More

We stayed at the Cleopetra in November 2015 and I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable stays I have ever had anywhere, and we travel a lot. Mosleh is the difference and it is amazing how hard he works to make everything happen. The nighttime suppers are awesome, as is Mosleh's Jordanian hospitality. You can... More

This place in Petra was a good find. The best thing about it is the owner. He is so friendly and involved in the day-to-day activities. It was great chatting. The rooms were clean, the service was great. There is also options for washing clothes. The dinners at night were also very tasty. I had a chance to eat some... More

Very welcoming staff, good fun as well especially the manager. We decided on the 3 day ticket for Petra so stayed 4 nights at the Cleopetra. It was cold during our stay but each room has an aircon/heater so nice and snug. Good wi fi with a router on each floor so signal was strong in your own room as... More
