We booked a 5 day trip with InkaNatura. The first two nights were at the tented cabins inside a very, very pristine part of the Amazon rainforest after a 6 hour boat ride from Boca Manu. The jungle there was amazing and we saw a multitude of monkeys, birds, insects, caimans, and plant life. Our two guides were incredibly knowledgeable... more

We had a great time at Manu Wildlife Center. We did the 4 night 5 day trip, which was quite expensive, but worth it. We chose it because it seemed to offer the most wildlife for the least amount of travel time, which made it expensive. Contrary to one of the other reports, we found the bungalows luxurious; private bathrooms,... more

We booked our stay through InkaNatura. You can also book through Manu Expeditions. I don't know if the experience would be different. A few plusses and lots of minuses. Here’s what to expect: On the plus side: Expect a fabulous plane flight over the Inca terraces near Cusco to the undulating jungle of the upper Amazon. Expect a variety of... more

We booked a 5-day trip with InkaNatura. The flight from Cusco is on a single engine propeller plane that holds max 12 people. Often the weather is not good enough and they cannot fill the plane. Also, there is a 10 kg luggage limit. Keep in mind in addition to the Cusco airport tax you have to pay a very... more

My boyfriend and I booked a 3 night/4 day trip through InkaNatura. Now, I am a poor airplane passenger to say the least, but the flight was amazing over the Andes! Our guide was phenominal, and the food was fantastic. The bungalows were clean and well constructed, although the nightly ritual of cockroach removal was a bit hairy on the... more

We booked a 5 day trip with Inka Natura with 2 nights at the tented cabins and 2 nights at the wildlife center. We flew into Manu from Cuzco which was a treat in itself. The 6 hour trip to the tented cabins was about 2 hours longer then I would have liked but the guides do a great job... more

Prior to the trip, i had been really looking forward to the jungle, my girlfriend, however, was terrified! On arrival at Boca Manu (airport), there was a downpour. The runway was a mudbath and it was a little hairy to say the least. We then took the supposed 90min canoe trip to the lodge, although it took over 2hrs as... more

Our family of 5 had a fabulous stay at Manu over New Year. The cabins are great, with good bathrooms, great to get hot water after a few days without in the more remote camps! Nice communal lounge area with comfortable chairs, hammocks, bar with a good range of drinks. Excellent 3 course meals, and snacks and water available anytime... more

The Manu Wildlife Centre is an excellent lodge located in one of the most ecologically diverse rain forest regions in the whole of the Amazon basin. Although it is located on the edge of the Manu "biosphere reserve", rather than in it, this is largely an irrelevant detail because the range of wildlife that can be viewed from the lodge’s... more

Incredible! The Wildlife Center is a remote area just outside Manu National Park. We took a 4d/3n trip, which seemed just right. Longer options are available. A short scenic flight from Cusco to a grass runway at Boca Manu then 1 ½ to 2 hours by boat past a couple very small villages, no significant population nearby. Screened bungalows with... more
