We stayed 2 days and 2 nights at the camp and had a wonderful time, we are already making plans to go back as we live in Jordan. The manager Rasme was so kind and welcoming, the tents were very comfortable the kerosene latterns made it for a really authentic peaceful experience. The dinner and breakfast was very good as... Fantastic small camp just outside of Qadisiyya and about 10min. by car from Dana Village. Clearly signposted from the King's Highway. Warm welcome with tea. Very friendly manager who speaks English well. Great views over the valley and various options for hiking. Cosy clean tent with its own balcony. At night it was quite cold so take some warm clothes... More

The staff was really great. The guy was really nice and always present. The owner looked after us in every moment, advised what to do, accompanied our dinner. We enjoyed talking to him about Jordan. Dana reserve is an amazing place, and the Nawatef camp is just in front of an incredible view. Tents are essential, but very picturesque. Price... More

We had a very nice time at Al-Nawetef camp. If you want to go to the Nawatef camp don't go and expect luxury. The place is basic though very cozy, has a really nice view, very very good food, nice atmosphere and friendly helpful people. The rooms have a bed and that's it. The facilities; shower, toilet etc., where clean... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. Facilities were basic but adequate. There was no electricity during our stay so the camp was lit by paraffin lamps, though I understand that their generator was broken. The shower wasn't particularly powerful but hot. The camp staff are very friendly and helpful and it's a great place to meet other travellers, as you... More

If you come to Jordan and you do not stay at least one night here, I feel sorry for you. It is one of a kind camp located on the edge of a valley. All the tents/houses have a fantastic view, and if you are up early like us, you might catch the clouds rolling in beneath. The food is... More

We stayed one night at this beautiful camp before starting a multiple day hike from Dana to Petra. The camp is beautiful situated with a stunning view over the valley. We enjoyed the sunset while we had the place to ourselves. The goat hair tents are surprisenly warm and comfy. The food was very good and prepared with love. The... More

My husband and I (late 20s) stayed here for two nights in very late August. We loved it! The goat hair tents are small and basic but clean and functional. They have real beds in them, pillows, mattresses, blankets and all. We slept well, although there was a dog barking all of the first night which was annoying. Other than... More
