The Dana Hotel definitely benefits from its amazing location. You will find yourself in he middle of the Dana nature reserve with a breathtaking view and nothing but goats, donkeys and some cats around you. The food was homemade by the owners (Nabil) wife and his sons are eager to make your stay even more memorable with picnics and drum... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Dana Hotel and it was a very nice stay. The people were friendly and it makes you feel very welcome. They are working hard on improving the hotel so I think it will be even better in the future. The food was good but the bedoein tee was the best there is.

The Dana hotel is a no-frills place to stay in a sensational location. It is clean, well-kept, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and although not luxurious, it is certainly above some eco-lodges you will find. Having said that, the reason to stay there has little to do with the hotel itself and everything to do with the location. It... More

I only stayed here for one night, but it sure was a great stay. The hotel is beautifully situated, with a nice roof terrace and basic, but clean and comfortable rooms. They can provide a lot of info on hikes and arrange guides if needed. The meals (breakfast was included, but they can also provide lunch and dinner - we... More

We stayed here for 1 night and what a relaxed place this is. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff. They have a couple of new rooms across the street and these rooms are perfect. The food is also great.

We stayed in the newly refurbished rooms with bathroom. Room is fine, but we all felt itching on our legs the next morning.... They do a great thing, but I feel it starts to become mass tourism, which turns it into a too busy location where meals have to be taken in turns (feeding factory feeling) the location is really... I stayed there for 1 night in May. The hotel is located in the small village Dana close to the splendid Wadi Dana Nature Reserve. We had triple room located across the street (we were said the rooms across the street are better). I liked the room very much- grey stone walls, simple but comfortable beds with very fresh, white... The Co-op that runs the Dana hotel is rightly proud of their achievement, to be truthful it's more a hostel than what Westerners might consider a hotel but the small rooms are clean and tidy and the food is excellent. This hotel is expanding and opening up rooms through out the small abandoned village of Dana and giving it a... More

Very nice location, beautiful nature and plenty of possibilities for walking. Very nice and helpful woman working there (Indonesia and filipines), great service from them. The man who is cooking prepares the best local food! Very tastful every evening. Triple room, 3 beds, number 12 was not so good. Not really clean but comparing to what other people said we... More

We stayed here 1 night in may. Very friendly place. We were a bit misleader by the 'hotel' in the name. It is really more a hostel then a hotel. Everything is very simple and rudimentary. However this does not take away from the great welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast and diner are served buffet style in a communal area. Good simple... More
