Book far, far ahead--it is hard to get rooms on weekends! I had off Veterans Day and so was able to snag a room for a Sunday overnight stay. The drive through the Quachita National Forest is beautiful. I found this lodge as nice as the high-end Big Cedar Lodge in Branson--for a fraction of the price! I loved sitting... More

The Lodge at Mount Magazine is all about the view and outdoor activity. Whether looking at the valley mist in the morning or watching the sun set at the end of the day, the view will not disappoint. The Lodge is also surrounded by a network of well-marked hiking trails that offer hours of outdoor activity. We visited on July... More

The lodge, room, and view all very nice and expensive. Most of the staff at the front desk acted like we were bothering them and I witnessed, I'm guessing a manager in the restaurant being very rude speaking to one of his employees.

The lodge was built in 2006 so it has all of the modern amenities. We had a standard room with no balcony but large windows. The room was on the 3rd floor. It was spacious and quiet. We especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and spa. We did not use the exercise room because we spent most of our visit... More

The lodge has the feeling of the "great" lodges of the national park system, but on a smaller scale. The lobby sitting area is wonderful, with comfortable chairs and large windows to look out at the valley below. About half a dozen rocking chairs were on the patio outside the lobby sitting area. The dining room had a variety of... More

I stayed at the lodge at Mount Magazine for two nights one weekend. The lodge was completed in 2006, thus it still had that shiny new look about it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the view out my window was spectacular. The hiking around the lodge was top notch as well. This place is in the middle of... More

We stayed here for two nights and found it to be a lovely place to stay. Our room was spotless and the view was magnificent! As previously mentioned by another reviewer, I also found it odd that there are refrigerators but no microwaves in the guest rooms. Except for an older gentleman who worked at the front desk, we found... More

We stayed at mt magazine on Thursday May the 15. Upon arrival I was super excited we pulled up to this beautiful spacious lodge and it's beautiful views. We checked in went to our room and the toilet wouldn't flush. So I called to the front desk and they stated that maintainance would take care of it. So we went... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Great rooms with awesome views of the Petit Jean valley. Because we were there mid-week, we had more advantageous rates. After our bike ride, the jacuzzi and pool were a welcome recovery treats. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. We had dinner one night: the menu is fine, but not very creative, but... More

We stayed on a Thursday night on our way to Hot Springs. We only saw other couples & no children. We had the very nice pool all to ourselves in the evening. All staff were friendly & entire place is spotless. Bed was very comfy & room had small refrigerator, balcony & whirlpool tub facing the nice view. Can't wait... More
