We spent the night at the Mount Magazine lodge recent and were very impressed. The room we stayed in was large with comfortable beds and all the amenities of a luxury hotel..flat screen tv, refrigerator. We were on the 3rd floor and had a beautiful view of the valley below from the balcony. They also have a restaurant, pool, exercise... More

The view is majestic! If you like the outdoors, hiking, bike riding, atv's or just a very roomy lodge, THIS IS THE PLACE! They have cabins also. We rented a king room with a balcony and a spa tub on the second floor. View was spectacular! The room was huge, every hall or room in this lodge was huge. We... More

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing getaway. Lodge rooms are very nice but do get one with a balcony overlooking the valley. Restaurant food was delicious. Very nice buffet or you can order from the menu. Perfect weather for July.

We asked for and received a 3rd floor king. It has a jacuzzi tub which was great for getting out the kinks from our motorcycle ride. They offer a motorcycle cleaning station which we did not know about until the second day. We requested covered parking and were denied but they are working toward offering protected parking for motorcycles. Ask... More

Jane and I stayed at the Lodge this past weekend-- for the first time-- it was a wonderful experience-- including the restaurant-- and all of the staff was extremely attentive-- and the room was immaculate-- indeed, everything was comparable to the "Great National Park" lodges out West.

We loved everything about our stay. The room was great and the hotel staff was extremely nice to us. The service at Skycrest restaurant was horrible. We will rent a cabin next time just so we don't have to eat at the Skycrest.

Book far, far ahead--it is hard to get rooms on weekends! I had off Veterans Day and so was able to snag a room for a Sunday overnight stay. The drive through the Quachita National Forest is beautiful. I found this lodge as nice as the high-end Big Cedar Lodge in Branson--for a fraction of the price! I loved sitting... More

The Lodge at Mount Magazine is all about the view and outdoor activity. Whether looking at the valley mist in the morning or watching the sun set at the end of the day, the view will not disappoint. The Lodge is also surrounded by a network of well-marked hiking trails that offer hours of outdoor activity. We visited on July... More

The lodge, room, and view all very nice and expensive. Most of the staff at the front desk acted like we were bothering them and I witnessed, I'm guessing a manager in the restaurant being very rude speaking to one of his employees.

The lodge was built in 2006 so it has all of the modern amenities. We had a standard room with no balcony but large windows. The room was on the 3rd floor. It was spacious and quiet. We especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and spa. We did not use the exercise room because we spent most of our visit... More
