Isabelle and Remy are so thoughtful and welcoming, we felt right at home at this lovely, historic gite. The room was spaceous and clean; the breakfast was copious and fresh; the surrounding property was verdent and gorgeous. This was the perfect place to launch our excursions to the chateaux of the Loire Valley, far from the madding crowds of tourists.... More

We spent 3 great nights here at the end of June and thought everything perfect! Our hosts were very helpful with booking a restaurant and advice on the many chateaux around. The breakfasts were excellent and set us up for the day. We would certainly recommend the B & B and hope to return.

Upon arrival we were greeted by our very friendly host who gave us some very useful advice on what to visit and where to eat. The small house that we had all to ourselves was nicely furnished, comfortable and very clean. (No wonder, the proprietor is a retired pharmacist.) The property even has its own small lake (étang) with fish.... More

We have just returned from a short trip to France, staying in Pommes de Pin at Les Saisons de Trainefeuilles. My husband was keen to see some of the Loire Chateaux so this was to be a busy few days. Having done a good deal of research we picked this B&B as it was ideally situated and had a swimming... More

We stayed for 4 days with our family from Washington (USA). The place, just 25 minutes from Blois, and all the castles around, was unbelievable. A very nice parc with a lake, old trees, a nice swimmingpool and very nice and comfortable rooms. The owners are also very helpfull. The Table d'Hote is a must, because the good food and... More

This place is so beautiful and we felt so comfortable that I was sorry I hadn't allowed for more time to stay there on our trip. We didn't meet Isabelle, who was away visiting a family member who'd fallen ill, but Rémi was a perfect host, serving delicious breakfasts in the lovely garden room, giving us excellent suggestions for dining... This was my family's first time traveling through France. I was with my husband and two boys, ages 8 and 11. We searched Trip Advisor for listings of B&B's in the Loire Valley. We were so incredibly lucky to come across this gem. Les Saisons de Trainefeuilles transports you into a storybook property, complete with a river, bridge, outside terrace... More
