Carol welcomed us with open arms and tender loving care. All the rooms of the home are spacious and well appointed. Very clean and equipped with all you need for a comfortable and quiet stay. Couldn't hear a sound from outside of our room. In the morning we were treated a delicious gourmet breakfast with a classic presentation. All American... More

Overall a great stay! Carol, owner, is such a delightful person! My wife had nice visit with her at breakfast which is phenomenal. Pictures coming. On the other hand, although spacious and very clean, it needs some tlc. The big screen t.v. is vintage. Don't expect hd viewing. Our room had a marvelous view of the Arkansas River and the... More

This is our home away from home.clean comfortable. Best Breakfast in the State of Ark . Carol is a gem . We have arrived all times of the day n night And we have no problem getting into our room . Her Victorian Living room is a fantasy of living in that century. The upstairs room you can see the... More

The Good: Reasonable rates Clean Amazing breakfast The Bad: Out of date and creepy decor No view of the water like we thought Next to a hospital, helipad and train tracks It all depends on what you like, but I may have nightmares about the life size Charlie Chaplin doll for a while.

I feel lucky to have found this gem in Arkansas on a trip to visit relatives. Next to visiting my family, staying at the Lamplighter is a definite highlight of my trip. Like never leaving home, just need my wife and dog and I would be in heaven. House is a museum of antiques and the accommodations are superb. And... More

Carol was a wonderful and friendly hostess. The room was very nice and clean, the atmosphere quiet and comfortable. Service was excellent, and the breakfasts were unbelievable - scrumptious feasts each morning! I highly recommend the Lamplighter B&B.

Miss Carol is the sweetest lady. She has the most beautiful home. It is amazingly decorated and feels very homey. She also happens to make the most amazing breakfast, presentation and flavor is the best I have ever had.

An older but clean B&B just a few miles from the heart of wine country. The breakfasts were outstanding! Location is in a very quite area on the banks of a river. Carol, the owner is friendly and nice, very knowledgeable about places to see and things to do.

If you are looking for a comfortable, friendly atmosphere this is the B&B for you. We felt welcomed & so were our two travel companions (our Scottish Terriers, Ernie & Wallace)! They go almost everywhere with us so we were delighted to find such a great place that accepted pets. This is an older home, nicely appointed with antiques &... More

One word is all that is needed to describe the Lamplighter Bed and Breakfast. "Perfect!" Beginning with the warm friendly host; Carol, then a very comfortable room, to the most wonderful breakfast one could ever ask for. This makes for an unforgettable stay that you will be talking about for a long time to come.
