One of the worst places by far we have camped in. We ask if they had cable and was told yes, no they did not, ask if the wifi was good, explained to her that we went through that before, it is terrible. The lady is so rude. And by the way we had 3 visitors for a couple of... More

This is the second time my husband and myself came to Murfreesboro to go looking for diamonds. The first time we stayed in the State Park Campground. We thought since we were traveling on a limited budget, we would try the Miner's Campground. We did not arrive until 5:30 only to find that the office closes at 5:00. Thank heavens... More

My family and I stayed here for two nights and I have never had such an unfriendly welcome. When I went to check- in the owner was in the back room and came walking out giving me a dirty look and would not even speak. I told her that I had a reservation and she began gathering up papers and... More

If you're in town for the diamond mining (and you probably are), but you want simple accommodations, but you also maybe don't feel like camping out, why not get a nice little cabin to spend the night in? Our cabin was very simple: just a bed and a desk, but we also had a tiny porch with a rocking chair!... More

So, Joyce tells you like it is, bring your sheets and pillows for a stay in the "cabin". We stayed across the street from the shop and met some of the greatest people and saw some beautiful diamonds. Got pointers and played horseshoes and ate smores. The other campers on our side of the road were what really made it... More

This was a great place to stay. We rented one of the cabins. It was close to the showers, and restrooms. Fairly quiet, close to State Park, absolutely wonderful owner! Joyce answered all my questions as did all of the staff, they were all so friendly! Will definitely return again next year!

Well, I ended up coming down to Murfreesboro without a reservation. Whoops! Luckily, there were vacancies. Unluckily, it was vacant in the summer because it was 115 degrees all three days of being there. I would suggest waiting until spring, fall, or winter to visit Crater. Joyce, the owner was great! We forgot the tent, as well as all tenting... More

We stayed here 4 nights. It is close to the Crater of diamonds State Park. The management is friendly and the R.V. park has a Country setting. Wet and Wild looking. Try it, You might like it. Don't judge it by it's looks. curtspride--Pensacola,Fl

We stayed here for 3 nights - it's literally a stone's throw from the diamond state park which is where we were headed. We stayed in a "cabin" which is honestly just a small room w/a bunk bed and a double. But it was great to sleep in a bed and not on the ground! The small playground was right... More
