We actually stayed at their sister property The Ireland. The room was large with a large bed and lots of room. It looked like the room had been remodeled in the not too distant past as the bath room was in very nice shape. The layout of the room was kind of funky but you can't expect much from a... More

Spent one night in mid-July at Shamrock's "other hotel," The Ireland. Located on the town square, the building has a quaint, historic feel. Despite being there on a day that reached 99 degrees, our room was a quiet, cool reprieve from the summer heat. This isn't just another cookie-cutter hotel and my husband and I actually liked how we had... More

Ok place to stay if you have kids and a pet. Kids loved the inside pool and water slide. TV had horrible cable reception and the room smelled musty at first. Dollar store around the corner and carpet fresh helped the smell. Breakfast area could use some upgrades, toaster and coffee maker were both VERY slow. Overall not bad for... More

We stayed at Little Shamrock during our visit to Arkansas! When we called to make reservations the lady was very friendly but that all changed when things weren't right with one of the rooms we reserved. One room had windows open, and no air and the fridge wouldn't work. Not to mention there's no ice bin to get ice from... More

We stayed in their Victorian Home in the Irland Suite. Sounds really nice .... but not so much. It's a really old building that the door locks when you walk out so you have to make sure you have your keys or you can make the half mile walk to the main office to get another. This really old building... More

Yes, if you want fancy chain hotel best to stay in a big city. If you want small town hospitality and the experience of a heritage building and don't mind the ghosts in a 125 yr old building, give The Ireland a try. More

Does an indoor pool sound nice, how about a 50" TV, and if your digging diamonds they have tools to use so you don't have to rent at the park..right??? WRONG, First let me say the tile floor in the bathroom area was so dirty when you got out of the shower you left muddy foot prints. The indoor pool... More

One can not complain that the room is dirty after a number of days refusing to allow housekeeping into the room. Photo's on website show what the pool house is like, check it out for yourself. More

Don't let the gimmicky pool with water slide suck you in. There are also no 50inch TV's. This motel is old and filthy. The rooms smell, they have a sign at the front office saying no refunds after 20 minutes. That tells you something right there. The rooms are equipped with automatic air freshness that spray every half hour and... More

Fragrances affect everyone differently, we have a variety and they can be turned off and we encourage guests to view their rooms. Shamrock Motel is a great experience for tens of thousands of visitors, many return yearly, wish we could please everyone. More

My family was on vacation and decided to stop at the Crater of Diamonds State Park and needed a place to stay nearby. A quick search showed this place and since I have an Irish heritage I'd take a chance. This motel has the familiar U-shape of motels that are near. There are several buildings around the parimeter that house... More

We stayed at the other hotel that they own, The Ireland which is down the street. It is an old mid 1800's hotel. All of the beds are made of cedar and they all have bathrooms. It is for adults only, no pets and no smoking. They turned 24 rooms into 12. Microwave and mini refrigerator are in the main... More

My family and I recently stayed here... While the rates were reasonable, the rooms were NOT!!! There was black mold in our room and the bathroom. If you've done any research on black mold you know it's potentially harmful and could be deadly. This is no way to run a business. The staff was very nice as were the owners....... More

Gordon H, Front Office Manager at Little Shamrock Motel, responded to this review

Mold can appear very quickly, especially in a shower area where another shower is above leaking. Our housekeepers work very hard to maintain a high level in the motel. When the issue was brought to our attention, via a note, the maintenance depart immediately located the leak; repaired, treated and painted. If the guest had notified the office, a room... More
