We loved this little hidden gem, tucked away about two blocks from the downtown square. This was our first stay here and we were very impressed. The rooms, breakfast and evening snacks were all very good, making this a great value for the price. It is a very clean property and has great wifi. And, the owner could not have... More

This is not what I expected from a bed and breakfast. I expected sharing bathrooms in an old house that was converted with tiny rooms a little nook for breakfast of prepackaged muffins, juice, and milk. If this is what you want, don't go here. This place is unique as it appears to be a grand old house but was... More

This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast so we really did not know what to expect nor did we know if we would even like staying at one. We loved it! The owner is very nice and we felt very at home. It had the feeling that I had as a child going to my Grandma's house.... More

We just returned from a three day stay at the Lowe House. We would highly recommend it. The hostess was great. The room was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. It had so many extras: a fantastic breakfast included in the room price, a pitcher of tea, lemonade, a delicious cake, cookies, and peanut butter crackers were always... More

This is a nice place to stay with a wonderful breakfast. It is clean and well maintained, the bed was very comfortable, very nice musical decor and an interesting clock in the dining room. There was also fruit and cake available all day. It is a 2 block walk to the square, where the music is played, and to the... More

We decided at the last minute to ride up for the bike rally and found this BnB had a room available for one night. Perfect. We got their way too early but stayed on the porch in the rockers for a bit. The porch is nice an being two blocks from the square made things a bit less busy and... More

We have stayed at the Lowe House 2 times, both to be near the JamFest activities on Saturday night at the Square in Mountain View. The first visit was July 06. Kathy, the proprietor, was very gracious. We had a first floor room off the breakfast lobby. It was comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect from a... More

Private baths in all rooms. Generous breakfast and snacks available throughout the day ... all the comforts of home without having to wash the dishes! Within walking distance of the square -- a great plus for pickers and grinners. Very reasonably priced. We always call here first any time we come to Mountain View.

We found this B&B to be superior in every way, the facility, the owners, the staff, as well as the area. We have stayed in Mountain View many times, but from now on when we travel to Mountain View this will be our spot.
