We stayed in "Grandpa's" room, which offered a beautiful view, spaciousness, and was tastefully decorated. My husband caught lots of fish on the lovely 7 acre lake. We enjoyed acres planted with abundant trees and shrubs. Most of all, our Host and Hostess treated us like family! We hope to return a third time! more

We needed a weekend by ourselves but really didn't want to travel far so we looked into Mountain View. My wife and I spent 7 days at Country Oaks and regretted that we had to leave. The rooms were fit for Kings, the cleanliness was outstanding and the construction and beauty of the home was outstanding. I had to go to Mt. View for a business trip. There are no business class Hotels in Mt. View. However, I found this charming B & B. I had a huge room. Very large private bath. Breakfast was wonderful. The coffee was great. I drank more coffee while staying there 2 days than I usually do in a week.... more
