We went to Sylamore Creek Camp for our first ever visit & really enjoyed ourselves. This was my first time around Mtn View/Blanchard Springs etc. All new to me the campground is pretty nice-we stayed on the lower level campsites with water & electric at our site--the water is right in front of the lower level sites. The shower house... More

We rented the two large cabins for the weekend and were generally pleased. Sylamore Creek is absolutely beautiful and the kids had a great time playing in it. It is about 1/2 mile from Angler's resort where we went on a guided trout fishing day trip. It is about 5 or 6 miles from downtown Mountain View. The kitchen was... More

Front and back porches. Rocking chairs. Shady. Dogs are allowed in the cabins. Great rock beach and creek. When we arrived the electricity was off. The refrigerator door was shut, and water from the freezer was in the bottom. Smelled pretty bad. The office was closed so I cleaned it myself. When we removed the trash can liner there was... More

My family and I stayed in the Wren cabin for a long weekend earlier this month. The cabin was clean and comfortable. No bells and whistles but it was nice being so close to town and the park (unfortunately it was closed due to the government shutdown). The creek is beautiful and my boys had a blast exploring. Everyone in... More

We've stayed at Sylamore Creek Camp every summer for at least 10 years. My kids have grown up looking forward to that trip. It doesn't matter who I take- kids, girls trip, couples trip, family reunion- everyone has a wonderful time. We have stayed in a few different cabins. They were all top notch. The staff has always been friendly... More

Just returned from a one-week vacation to Mountain View, we stayed at the Wren cabin which is right by the showers and the path to the river. The cabin is fully equipped: has a spacious bathroom with a closet, a queen size bed, sleeper, large kitchen with pots and pans. There is a picnic table out on the deck and... More

My family and I visited for the Fourth of July Weekend this year (My family was there from Mon-Sun, I arrived Thur and left Sun as well). We stayed in our camper on the lower lever by the creek. It was great to have such easy access to the water. To go to the bathroom, we had to trek either... More

The creek and mountain are beautiful and the campground is in a great location. However, they advertise clean bathrooms and they are far from clean. The women's bathroom had gnats all over the sink area and the shower was pretty grimy. We decided to cut our stay short.

The back stage cabin was clean and comfortable although the jacuzzi tub was no longer in the cabin. The best time to enjoy the front porch is in the morning as the late afternoon sun shines directly on that area. The creek is a great place for relaxation. Our grandkids played there all day.
