For starters we booked at this resort because of the availability for our family of 48 people. We all wanted to stay in cabins and be in close proximity to each other. I'm happy to report this was accomplished!! Our family has been gathering for yearly camp trips for many years now. I write this review comparing White Buffalo Resort... More

We just returned from 5 days at this wonderful resort. We stayed in the Tonka lodge 4 adults and 2 children and had lots of room to be comfortable. There are 2 rooms downstairs each with a queen bed and two baths. Living area with large table that sited 8 comfortably. The upstairs has two lofts with 4 twins in... More

Just left and we are so ready to return. Staff and owner so helpful and a beautiful place. We LOVED the camper cabins, they were so fun and my husband said it was the best vacation he had ever had. Cant wait to return!

My husband and I recently rv camped at the white buffalo resort and had a wonderful experience. The resort is simply stunning and the staff are wonderful. The fog that rolls in from the mountains and settles on the river is a truly beautiful sight and you can't beat the fishing! The place is small, not many sights, but that... More

My wife and I didn't stay at the resort, but the campground looked nice enough. We chose to rent a canoe and enjoy the outdoors for July 4th. Luckily we found White Buffalo resort. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The river was beautiful and perfect for a first timer. It was 7 miles of fun exercise. There was... More

Location location location! The river is beautiful; fishing, and canoeing great. Staff is friendly. The pool is perfect for families with small kids. However...the majority of the rv sites leave a lot to be desired. They are tiny!!! The staff doesn't monitor how people park in them either. So some people were pulled thru others backed in which made the... More

The good: Lots of activities for families. The kids loved the pool and canoeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part. They also had lawn games, ping pong, checkers, volleyball, and horse shoes. Having a store on site was great for firewood, incidentals, and ice cream! Also, the river and bluffs are truly beautiful! The bad:... More

The resort staff really made this 7 man trip a great time. They started by working with the planning of the trip and getting all details worked out well in advance. Additionally, they worked with me to when I had one person fall out of the trip. The lodges were comfortable and well heated with nice kitchen amenities. The scenery... More

We have stayed at this resort several years in a row and see no reason to change. At first we did not ask a lot from the resort owners except for a clean place to stay while we fished. They delivered. No problem. But as we planned more trips more friends and family began wanting to come along. This compounded... More

I spent a 5 day Father and Son camp here and it was fantastic. The dads fished about 45 trout the whole trip! The lodges were very warm and comfortable. I've been to a few ski lodges were it always seems a little drafty. These lodges heated up so quickly, especially when the fireplaces were turned on. I read from... More
