The cabin rentals on the at Petit Jean state park are magnificent. Incredibly clean and well apportioned you have several choices for a wonderful stay. The cabins with the kitchens include all you need for a great getaway. The cabins are up to date, clean and are located on a bluff overlooking the canyon below. The include firewood and starter... My wife and I stayed 2 nights in a duplex cabin without kitchen. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had a small refrigerator and microwave, along with comfortable beds and a nice fireplace. We walked about 3 minutes to Mather Lodge, a beautiful old Civilian Conservation Corps structure, for all our meals. The restaurant served OK food and... More

My husband and I camped here in a tent for the first time this past weekend. We reserved our site thru the park website. The website doesn't let you pick the exact site, but you can specify what type of area in the campground you would like and they will do their best to accomodate. We were originally assigned site... Decided to rough it a little and stay in a yurt at Petit Jean Park. Highly recommend it! Yurts have three bunkbeds (there were only two of us so had room to spread out), table, cooler and electricity. Nice deck surrounding it and a picnic table, fire pit, grill and canoe below. You share the restrooms with the campground, so... More

This is our 3rd time visiting. First time we stayed in the lodge and the last 2 times was in the cabins w/o the kitchens. Value is impeccable. Rooms are clean and roomy. Microwave and frig was a great amenity. The only downfall was the small coffee pot. If that's the worse thing to complain about- this place rocks!! Camel... More

Charming log cabin with wood floors and large rock fireplace. We were provided with firewood as well. Bathroom was clean but simpler than some May be use to having .... But is a cabin! The kitchen was stocked with items needed for meal preparation. The bed was a full size I think and squeaky but linen clean. Thoroughly enjoyed visit... More

We stayed in Cabin 9 on the rim of a canyon. Easy walking distance to Mather Lodge. We had a private view, picnic table, and backporch swing. Great place to bring a family...but keep an eye on the littles. The cabins back a canyon and the drop off is steep. No wifi. Very peaceful. We both slept well. The restaurant... More

This is a place for day trips or camping. Hiking trails and spectacular views. Bath houses and hook ups available. State Park with cabins, an old time lodge which is completely remodeled and a decent restaurant. I will include some photos.

I have been coming here since I was a child and have a real affection for the park and lodging. With the renovation and new construction, it couldn't be better. All of the historic CCC buildings have been spruced up but completely preserved and continue to be a great example of the extraordinary good that can be accomplished by government... More

We stayed one night at Mathers Lodge in Room 116. Very affordable. The room was very nice and had a very comforable queen bed. Nice wall mounted flat screen tv, although limited on the channels, we didn't come to watch tv anyway HA. The views are spectacular! The lodge restaurant has good food, although the fried shrimp are pretty tasteless,... More
