Went for suppe last night, just had steak and chips, which was outstanding. Iced water arrived without asking for it, yummy homemade crisps and Mayo arrived gratis and the wine was delicious. The whole experience was fantastic, I will be back.

Perfect Saturday sandwich sitting in the garden surrounded by dogs. What more could you ask for after a heavenly walk in beautiful countryside with amazing views. DLT - Duck lettuce and tomato - it really was the most delicious sandwich ever.

The perfet venue for for a relaxing overnight stay. The room could not be faulted and looked out over glorious views of the surrounding countryside. The dinner was delicious with a wonderful seasonal menu supporting local suppliers. We will definitely be going back very soon!

We recently stayed at the Queens Arms after a day at the local races. From the minute I arrived I felt at home. The day had been cold at the races and on our return to the Queens Arms the fire was lit, the perfect welcome. We enjoyed a yummy fish supper that was beautifully presented. We had a very... More

I had an excellent time, the staff were attentive but not over fussy. The hotel was lovely as was the food. Its a beautiful setting and unspoilt by being a chain or too commercial and an oasis of peace & quiet. I would add that you need to be careful of negative reviews, where people have their own recollection of... More

We stayed in this pub for three nights and would totally recommend it if you are needing to stay in the south west. The location is fantastic, the accommodation and staff are fantastic, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are really very comfortable - stayed in room 5 (best nights sleep ever). The Queens Arms - brilliant... More

First the good points: Very nice lunch Very nice breakfast Now the bad: We stayed overnight. Rooms seemed very nice until we tried to use the shower. The shower did not work. We paid £130 for bed and breakfast. We reported the shower was a problem. Someone came to the room to try and fix it. No apology. After half... More

We stayed here for one night on 7 March as we had a birthday party nearby. We had two rooms at £130 per room so was expecting a good experience. We arrived at hotel on Saturday lunchtime and had lunch which was lovely - we asked if we could leave our bags as my daughter had a baby and were... More

We had early evening dinner in the restaurant. It's a bit off the beaten track, approx 15 mins from the west bound A303 but worth persevering as the food is delicious and the service great. Not much more to be said. Worth a visit.

Relaxing place, with friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. I stayed only one night as I had a business meeting in Yeovil and I couldn't find a closer hotel but I am glad I stayed at The Queens Arms. Room was nice and comfortable. Food and ale in the bar was good, so was breakfast. I am planning to return with... More
