We were told this was 5 Star with a 4 poster bed so we booked, thinking it would be luxurious. We paid £90 for 1 night. There was no soap, half used toiletries, the rugs were grubby, the bed not even made properly. Water only warm. No heating, we didn't even use the shower because of the cold. Dogs everywhere,... We stayed for a long weekend over Easter in Summerlaze, what can I say, the Caravan is superb, in it's own little corner of the countryside, the children loved wandering around the Farmyard visiting the animals. Pip little Florence and Philip were so welcoming and friendly, The new born Lambs woke us in the morning, such a wonderful change to... More

What a lovely little find. We stayed in the farmhouse b&b, family of 5 sharing two rooms. The whole place has a traditional farmhouse feel. Phillip and his daughter Pip were very welcoming and we felt that nothing was too much trouble for them. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious every morning, and both our rooms were tidied everyday in... More

We had a wonderful break in Stable Cottage, the owners are very friendly and really made us feel at home. The cottage is in a very quiet, secluded spot but it's only a short drive to lovely beaches such as Tresaith, Penbryn and Llangrannog. The bed must have been as comfortable as previous posters have stated as we slept very... More

My new wife & I were over in Wales travelling around on our honeymoon and hadn't decided where we going to stay. We dropped in to see if there was a spare room. Nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in a lovely room, the whole house is beautiful. The FOOD! Breakfast was fantastic, possibly the best I've ever had,... More

We've just stayed for five nights in Stable Cottage, a stone single-bed apartment in the farmyard itself, facing the main farmhouse. While the weather was chilly, the heating was excellent -- electric storage and a really powerful gas 'woodburner' in the living room. Everything was beautifully clean, not a trace of dirt anywhere in the apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped... More

We stayed with our two teenage sons for four nights and had a lovely time. Charmaine and her family (and pets!) were friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were first class. We would definitely return and recommend Pennar Fach to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Good value for... More
