We stayed here two nights with another couple and loved this B & B! It is modern, clean, warm, friendly and within walking or driving distance to many lovely sights in and around Castro. The breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room that overlooks the inlet on which the hotel sits. Our rooms were comfortable and the service... More

To say that this hotel is beautiful is an understatement. My husband and I stayed here last August and it was truly one of my favorite hotels to stay in during our stay in the south of Chile. Check-in was hassle free (as it was in most of the hotels we stayed in), and our room was large and clean.... More

This is a traditional Palafito, a wooden house built on stilts over the water although much modernised on the inside. Our room looked straight out over the estuary and provided my husband with loads of bird watching opportunities. It is very comfortable, breakfast is good. The hotel has a small cafe on the terrace which serves drinks (including some unusual... More

It was interesting to stay in a palafito, a house on stilts over the water, or mud at low tide, which was less picturesque. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly, especially Rosario. We had no trouble parking on the street. Good in room wi-fi. The breakfast was fine. It is about a 15 minute... More

This hotel in quietly positioned across the water from the main town of Castro but within 15 mins walking. And we were very pleased to be out of the centre in something a bit quieter. The wood construction sitting on on stilts above the water is very picturesque. We had a double room at the rear looking out across the... More

Very nice hotel, nicely decorated rooms with enough space. The view of the room, overlooking the bay was superb! There is also a bar with very good sandwiches (bar has limited opening hours though) and at breakfast there is a lot of choice, and the breakfast is prepared for you on the spot. We had a terrible problem with Alamo... More

It is a bit difficult to rate this hostel. First for the positive: The interior is beautiful, tastefully decorated, subdued natural tones, great bed and a good shower. It really is a nice building. We spent the first night in one of their rooms facing the water and it was very nice. You actually have a very nice view over... More

We like finding out of the way locations and this palafito overlooking the bay, away from the center of town, was perfect. The all natural wood decor throughout the hotel is beautiful, and is complemented by the art and tapestries. There are three spacious floors with lots of common areas and the interior windows provide unexpectedly pleasant views. The efficient... More

What a charming and friendly little hotel. Light, airy and inviting. Great views. Great local art. Comfy bed. Yummy breakfast. Offering to light the fireplace to get rid of the chill of a damp day would have made everything perfect.

As budget travelers, this hotel is a little out of our budget, but we decided to book it anyway. I am really glad that we did. This place is awesome. The decoration and design is comparable to some of the hotels in Castro that is going for USD 200-300 a night, however, we are only paying a fraction of that... More
