When we approached this hotel we were greeted by a temporary sign offering coffee and wi-fi for $10. Having travelled all around the world and never having been charged for wi-fi I regard this as blatant profiteering. There is little to do in this town and they are in danger of driving the cruise ship as away with their greed.... More

Ou recent stay at this hotel definitely exceeded our expectations. From its spectacular location to the fantastic and well executed excursions to the solid food offerings to the large, comfortable room - all anchored in a culture driven by service and excellence - this was an adventure we always will cherish. Thanks to all of you on the staff for... More

I'm sorry, but the service at Loberias is worse than bad! The staff is unprepared and rude. We had many problems with the keys system. Breakfast was poor. It's true, however, that they know how to make a good burger, although it s only available for room service.

I did not stay at this Hotel, but was there for lunch. It was the best experience in the area by far. The view will take your breath away, and will count for whatever small detail may be missing through your meal. Although the service was spotless. We had self-service, which is usually offered at lunch time. The food was... More

Arrived at Loberias Del Sur Hotel located in Chacabuco for a one night stay before departure aboard Rio Azul, the boat which would be our home for a week whilst fishing. The Hotel is warm & welcoming, as are the staff. A special mention for Enrique Mora, the young bar man, from upstairs who went out of his way to... More

I drive around the streets and eventually find a large building, good architecture and decide that must be the hotel, though there is no sign outside! I speak to the receptionist to check I’m in the correct place and he advises that the hotel name is in the doormat! Only in Chile. This hotel has 60 rooms and overlooks the... More

We stayed here for several nights on business, and had a great time. The grounds are nicely maintained, and the building itself feels like a fishing lodge more than a hotel. The restaurant had a nice wine list at reasonable prices, and the food was pretty good too considering how far from anywhere Puerto Chacabuco is. It is not fancy... More

This hotel was part of a tour by catamaran to San Rafael glacier. The entire experience was unforgetable. The hotel swimming pool is small, it is true but we enjoyed it with little fountains and chaise lounges in the water. Food was excellent and our room was very nice with an outstanding view. The trip to San Rafael glacier was... More

The company that owns the Loberias del Sur built this hotel as part of an organization that runs catamaran ships right out of the hotel for a day visit to the amazing Laguna de San Rafael Icefields. They also own a hacienda nearby the hotel which includes some incredibly beautiful walks, and a marvelous lake. The Loberias del Sur Hotel... More

Glaciar Express tour (3 days-2 nights) is fine if you plan just to know Laguna San Rafael and its Glaciar. I do recommend 100%. Day 1 Hotel is beautiful and cozy. Its staff is awesome (Rafael and Marcela are the best) but dont expect a great infrastructure as swimming pool is pretty small in comparison to the number of rooms...... More
