An amazing place in an incredible setting. Great room overlooking the huge valley with snow-topped mountains in the distance. The staff was very attentive to all our needs. Excellent breakfast, and a very good dinner (albeit with limited choices). The only problem we had was when we had to pay the bill - the person dealing with us tried to... More

The location of this lodge is stunning, overlooking rolling hills and rivers. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous...opulence for such a great price! The staff, especially Mercedes and Roberto, are outstanding. They genuinely care about sharing their corner of the world with travelers, and will go to the greatest lengths to give you the best experience! From local fly fishing... More

This review is overdue. My husband and I spent several days at Estancia Del Zoro and Cinco Rios lodge last January. The entire experience was amazing. For travelers who are not interested in fly fishing everyday, I highly recommend the glacier tour and renting a car to explore the breathtaking landscape. Driving in Chile is easy and four wheel is... More

This is a beautiful location perching above the river with quality accommodations and meals. Sadly, I didn't do much in the near by region but it looked like there were many options to explore and play. The owner/manager is a wonderful sparkplug of a woman who is keen to serve and share the wonders of Aysen.

I got to Cinco Rios lodge as the sun was setting behind the mountains, with the beautiful horses grazing out front, and I felt like I had come 'home.' It is an absolutely gorgeous property, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely fantastic and very welcomed when traveling: healthy options like salmon, homemade bread and... First let me say that the accommodations, the quality of the food, and service from lodge staff was first rate, consistent with others postings. However the management of the fishing program was not. On one occasion we were not able to fish our scheduled location due to "access issues" When we communicated our feelings to the head guide and Sebastian,... More

I just returned from a week-long stay at the lodge last week. I was with a group of 8 others on a fishing trip. We were all very impressed. Sebastain was a wonderful host. Stephanie was delightful as a host as well. We had wonderful meals with a superb selection each night for dinner including a feast of lamb cooked... More

Just got back from a stay at Cinco Rios. All of my expectations were exceeded. Spent 1 week at the lodge doing amazing fishing and enjoying the hospitality. Each day we fished something new and I enjoyed everything that the region has to offer. The fishing and scenery were amazing. What makes Cinco Rios even nicer is it's proximity to... More

Just finished filming new episodes of "Passport to Adventure" (.com - on PBS) in the magnificent Aysen region. Had the pleasure of staying at Cinco Rios Lodge, which was truly our home away from home. Sebastian and Juan Andreas are superb hosts - knowledgeable, friendly and interesting people to chat with. The staff and guides were so real, warm, all... More

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Cinco Rios Lodge in early April, 2008. The new lodge was just completed and the accomodations are absolutely first rate! This was our 4th visit to the region, and we were so pleased with the hard work and attention to detail that Sebastion and Juan Andreas Galilea (the lodge owners)... More
