Hard to imagine a more comfortable or friendly base for exploring this part of Patagonia. Ruth is an amazing hostess, and all of her staff treat you as family from the first moment you arrive. Food is delicious, architecture outstanding and location is perfect, tucked on a quiet bench with sweeping views above town. But the level of care is... More

The Patagonia House was a perfect, small, comfortable and affordable spot to stay. It was a mix of folks coming in from NOLS, fly fishing, and hiking. It is a quick cab or easy walk from the city center, and is very safe. The food is excellent and there are both fluent Spanish and English speakers to help with anything... More

Five of us stayed at Patagonia House on the first and last nights of our trip to visit friends south of Coyhaique. We all found the hotel to be very clean, quiet, and modern. The mostly English-speaking staff was very helpful and the breakfasts & one dinner we enjoyed there were excellant. Unfortunately my wife's and my luggage was lost... More

We found Patgonia House was one of the lovliest and relaxing spots we`ve been to on our trip through Chile. The rooms are carefully furnished and kept very tidy, the bathrooms have a decent size. If anything does not meet the expectances (which did not happen to us at all...!), the ladies of the house are more than helpful. Breakfast... More

Really who goes to Coyhaique in Winter? We did because we are trying to ski all of the ski areas in South America. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed great personal service. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the region. It is just a couple of minutes out of town. Their sign is a... More

A beautiful place, a wonderful breakfast, an excellent bed, a very large room, a quiet location, and much more. Above all, we felt like staying with our best friends, or closest family. Ruth went out of her way to make us feel good, helped us solve problems, and took care of us like a mother. (We are older than she... More

No doubt, a wonderful place with five stars in human warmth, noticeable attention to guests needs. Outstanding environment. We hope more people could discover this little gem in Patagonia.

An amazing address, nested away from the city of coihayque, Ruth and her team will receive you as friends. The kitchen is fantastic, Dona Rosa hold her kitchen like a five stars chef. We stayed first at the main lodge, and then in one of the houses, by the pool. Everything was perfect, super clean, great personal attention, zero noise.... More

Our family had a wonderful stay at Patagonia House between Christmas and New Year. The inn and rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and a spectacular view of the snow covered mountains over Coyhaique. However, the real secret to Patagonia House is the personal attention and family-like atmosphere provided by Ruth and her staff. The best complement I can... More
