Stayed one night , only because we were halfway between Santiago and Pucon. The welcome we got was warm and friendly (I think! I speak hardly any Spanish) Our room wax a little small but clean and with a good fan,as there is no air con. The secure car park was great, as the area looks a little run down.... More

Top location midway between train station and CBD, both in easy walking distance. Family owned and run quiet rooms, excellent standard of cleanliness. Lockup car parking. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Francisco who has excellent english and was able to provide important infomation for our day trips, meals and shopping.

The reason why we chose this hotel is that it is one of few hotels in Chillan which can be booked online. The value-for-money-ratio is really not good - this hotel is definitely too expensive! The rooms were big enough for two people - the windows towards the yard offered a relatively nice view. However, the room was not very... More

Not sure why anyone would go to Chilian. It was a over night stop on our drive to the Lakes area. This hotel is very nice and quite secure....front door always locked until fattendant opens it....car behind a locked tall iron fence....but this is necessary since the neighborhood is marginal at the best. (I would not walk in this neighborhood... More

We chose to stop in Chillan, Chile to break up the long drive south and to see the Central Market that this town was known for. As we entered the town, there was a lot of street construction and re-construction going on and the town was really dusty. As we turned on to our street, it didn't look like a... More

Well located for quick train station access (2 blocks to walk). 5 blocks walk to the main bus station. Room was fine. It was a treat to have new big fluffy bath towels - you only appreciate these after using the worn out, wafer thin towels used at some other locations. Wifi did not work properly when logging in to... More

This is a perfectly acceptable hotel: Clean, good beds, friendly staff, secure parking and a nice breakfast. It is also just a two block walk to the best local's secret restaurant - Ficus. The only downsides are a lack of air conditioning and you will overpay if you book online. But on a long drive between Santiago and Villarica, this... More

We have stayed here before over the past 10 years .... maybe 5 times now ....and it seems to get better each time. Its basic, very clean and with ample rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast is standard Chilean ...... bread, cheese, ham, fruit nectar, jam and tea or coffee. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is secure... More

Spartan accommodations. Very basic room, building and breakfast. I thought it was grossly overpriced, considering the rather simple hotel, food and lower wages in that part of the world. Then I discover hotels in Chile are all overpriced. In my books, that room should have been priced at 50 USD instead the 100 USD they charged. That's no way to... More

after staying here for 3 nights. This was my second visit to the Paso Nevada, and both times I've had the same, tiny room with a view of an internal wall and barely enough space to walk around the bed. But this time the internet wasn't working (3 times in 2 days I complained, and 3 times the clerk said... More
