What an absolutely fabulous place this is. The warmest of welcome was extended to us immediately on arrival. The home has a fantastic guest lounge with leather recliners (electrically operated) and if you want, you can order in a take away. If you have wine or beer, glasses are provided for your use and then you are left to enjoy... More

My partner Gerry and I have been coming to Kate and Paul's for 6 years now and we adore this small (there are 3 guest bedrooms), friendly and spotlessly clean B&B. We have stayed in other establishments that have come near to but never surpassed this one - Lynton House truly is that good in our opinion. The welcome is... More

I stayed here for 4 nights whilst on a course in Braintree. The room was perfect, breakfast was plentiful and delicious and there was a guest living / dining room to relax in - a bonus. Very lovely owners. I will stay here again in the future with my family and the surrounding area is lovely to visit. Darren

Me and my family attending a wedding at Spain's Hall and stayed at Lynton House B&B. They were not only welcoming but very professional, and made it feel like a home from home. All rooms were extremely clean, and very comfortable beds. Clean lining and towels provided and a very delicious cooked breakfast in the morning (but there is a... More

I wish a few hoteliers would stay at this guest house they may learn something. Spotlessly clean room with fresh milk. Superb and it takes nothing to do. The breakfast was fantastic with lovely range of yoghurts and cereals and a cooked breakfast to die for. Well done to you both.

We attended a Family BBQ nearby to Lynton House and booked all 3 rooms for our stay for myself, my wife, our two young children and my in-laws. The welcome could not have been better with really nicely laid out rooms complete with a full set of amenities such as the bath robes / TV in room etc. plus an... More

I stayed at Lynton House to attend a wedding in the area. Kate was very friendly and welcoming. My room was comfortable but not en-suite (which may be an issue for some). Breakfast was plentiful and well prepared. I would definately stay here again if in the area.

This B&B offers great value for money. I stayed for two nights to attend a friend's wedding nearby. I arrived quite late in the evening, but Kate welcomed me with a pot of tea in the living room. The bed was really comfortable and there is TV in the room. What i really like were nice touches like the bath... More

I used this lovely little B&B as a stop over whilst visiting family, during the school holidays, less expensive than the local Premier Inn We could not have been made more comfortable, a welcome pot of tea made on arrival after a 200 mile drive, was very thoughtful, beautiful spotlessly clean bedrooms, little extras such as face wipes and toiletries...
