Quite Quaint for a beach resort. Lush in surroundings. The beach houses are so cute and the paint delightful. As close as you could get to the shore. Clean just CLEAN beach. Rooms average but overshadowed by the tranquil vibes. Great to see Mangroves introduced again. Food is very delicious as oppose to previous review, compliments to the Chef. He/She... More

When you arrive in this pace, it is for a good reason. You're expecting to be able to eat and to sleep... the concept of a resort. Apparently there are some problems in both: To eat, you need to wait 90 minutes for an omelet (at lunch time). My wife waited long as well for some pork sizzling that were... More

we were in Casa de la Playa in July 2015. The staff is very friendly, The location is quiet and relaxing. It was easy to get there from Siquijor port by jeepney or habal habal. The rooms are in a good shape, the air condition was very useful. The meals we had there for dinner were very fresh and delicious... More

I have to say that for this stay in Casa de la Playa, we were not very lucky. Indeed, we arrived during a big storm on the island after a long & quite terrible travel on the boat (advice: NEVER take the boat from Cebu to Siquijor if the weather is not perfect!). So.. we arrived exhausted at this hotel... More

The peacefulness of this place is amazing. That being said, this place truly does take you away from it all, no cell service for globe clients and the power is out almost more than it is on. Water continually runs out and no hot water at this place. Food is great if you are vegetarian but if not you can... More

Go down the beach. Casa may have been a good location at one time, but between the relatively high prices, things constantly breaking, heavy handed management, etcetera, there are better options for your vacation. The staff was relatively helpful, and the rooms are alright, but the vibe of the whole place is off putting. Further, I felt nickeled and dimed... More

We spent a few nights here, arrived mid afternoon having started our day at 4am from Manila. Having unpacked and feeling hungry, we went to the restaurant only to find that it takes an hour to get a meal. I ordered a cheese sandwich thinking that would be quicker. . . it wasn't. And the cheese was one sad thin... More

Even so calm and idyllic that she said yes when I asked her while laying in the sea stargazing. Only some crabs teased us while laying there. Service is really good. If not for my boss wanting me to work for him and having to save money first I'd move in permanently

The good: charming quiet little place right on the beach. You can really relax and unwind here. Also the concept/theme of the resort is cute where there's a pathway that leads to the individual cottages where the guests stay. There's wifi in the restaurant. The bad: The food is nothing special and overpriced. The beach is quite indented and eroded.... More
