Our stay at Daintree Manor could not have been any better. From the moment we arried we really felt pampered - comforable beds with high quality bedding, spacious bathroom spotlessly clean, guest lounge with nespresso machine, beautiful veranda and panoramic veiws overe the top of the trees ahhh - heaven . The owner Errol prepared an excellent breakfast with homemade... More

We spent only one night here and will definitely be going back / recommending to all our family & friends. Absolutely stunning in every way; the accommodation, the view and the service! We were celebrating my parents 60th wedding anniversary and couldn't have found a nicer place to do so.......Errol, you are the best host, provide a sublime venue and... More

Myself, my wife and our 3 year old child stayed here for 2 nights. The B&B itself is a beautiful colonial style home, with the top half the house used only by the guests. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and there was great attention to detail shown to every aspect of the room. There was also a common... More

We just had 3 nights at this comfortable and immaculate B&B. It was easy to find, being well-signposted and only a few minutes from the ferry, and our host Errol, did everything to make us welcome. The B&B has all mod cons. Its well-kept gardens are surrounded by forest, and set on a hill with wide views over the plain... More

Our only misgiving is that our stay was far too brief. The setting is beautiful & Errol is most welcoming and a real gent. Staying here was a total escape. The room was immaculate. Tea & coffee, snacks were in the sitting room. Breakfast was exquisite with the beautiful selection of baked goods & fresh fruit, and to dine in... More

Arriving in the dark we were welcomed by Errol who was keen to ensure we felt comfortable from the outset of our stay. Our room was spacious, immaculate and spotlessly clean. Errol's breakfasts were a complete treat! His 'famous' tartlets did not disappoint and the accompanying fresh tropical fruits, scones and coffee were a perfect start to the day. All... More

I have been staying in Daintree several times and I believe this is the best property. The view is superb, the room well appointed, and the cleanliness is top notch. The owner prepares an excellent breakfast with homemade scones, quiches, tropical fruit salad, and excellent coffee. He even made me dinner when I got stranded returning from a trip after... More

My husband and I stayed three nights here -- and both of us left wishing we could have stayed longer. Host Errol made us feel right at home, and we were urged to enjoy the amenities of the common lounge area and veranda, all beautifully appointed and fastidiously maintained. Errol takes justifiable pride in his amazing breakfasts, featuring locally grown... More

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to write a review. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you also for mentioning the air conditioning etc, as this provides me with the opportunity to explain the situation North of the Daintree River to the readers. Until recently there was a 12 year ban on the supply of grid energy... More

The highlight of our stay in the Daintree a colonial style house. Some real luxury, immaculate clean with luxurious high quality bedding, a spacious guest lounge and great value. An incredible location with wonderful panoramic views over the tops of the trees. Birds and wildlife a plenty. The best feature is Errol the owner and host. He is a delight... More

Daintree Manor is a wonderful retreat in an amazing part of the word. Errol works extremely hard to ensure his guests want for nothing even getting up very early to make us his wonderful breakfast tarts on a day we had an early start. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B .

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Daintree Manor has new owners so the place is slowly getting an uplift. Not that much needed doing, Sonja and Mike kept the place immaculately but we are adding our personal touch, repainting and upgrading the furniture. Double beds have been replaced with queen size and there is lots of new outdoor furniture to sit on the balconies, read and relax and enjoy the beauty and views. The rainy season is over and the weather is great so the time is now perfect for a visit to tropical Queensland! Daintree Manor, sits high on a ridge in the foothills of the Alexandra Range, with breathtaking views of magnificent mountain ranges and the Daintree River valley.Located near the Daintree River ferry crossing on the edge of the world heritage listed Daintree National Park, we are ideally situated in a quiet area with easy access to the ancient rainforest, stunning deserted beaches and the breathtaking wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. ... more   less
