I visited Sosua for 6 days and 5 nights. The staff was very professional and catered to all of our needs. I have no complaints about this place, definitely recommend it to anyone, families or singles. It's hard to pull that mix off, but Casa Valeria has it almost perfected.

This was my second stay at Casa Valeria Boutique Hotel. My husband and I had stayed there three year ago on our first trip to the DR. This time our mother wanted to make more memories with her five adult children and their partners, so we flew in for a week and stayed at Casa Valeria. As we had come... More

Just arrived home after spending a week in the Dominican Republic at the Casa Valeria Boutique Hotel. For some of our family this was a return visit to Casa Valeria, but this was mine and my husband's first stay. We found the staff to be warm and helpful, the service outstanding, and the food excellent! We stayed in room 11... More

Returned from Sosua July 1, 2015. Unfortunately me and my friends were recommended breakfast at this hotel two days before departure, would have spent most of our time there... Very tasty and variable breakfast, nice drinks and, what is extremely important, bar attendant, Mirelin R., very helpful, attentive and English speaking young lady, who is, no doubt, the most beautiful... The hotel is not the newest, most modern. It's a hotel with a dominican atmosphere. For those who're looking for luxury: search something different. But for those who want to stay in a nice, cosy, hotel with friendly staff in dominican style: this is a good stay!!!! It's close to everything: 5 minutes walking to the beach, nice restaurants nearby,... More

My boyfriend and I decided to visit Sosua, Dominican Republic after finding that it was a small tourist town instead of a gaudy resort. So happy I followed the other reviews as this place was absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, great location, yummy breakfast in the morning (try the highly recommended mangu con salami frito!) Sure there was clear prostitution going... More

Once again, Casa Valeria provides me with a cozy and tranquil room and top-Mitch accommodations in their beautiful boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. They make sure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded. The food is delicious and some the best in town!

The hotel was old and worn and the room smelled like it molds what is harmful. The breakfast was sparse and I had to pay for refill of coffee. The staff was somewhat Nice but spoke poor English. so ther may be some misunderstanding in the communication. It was not possible to pay by credit card and I had to... More

My boyfriend and I just came back from a two week amazing vacation thru the north coast of DR. We rented a car in Santo Domingo and drove to Samana, stayed in Las Galeras, Las Terrenas and Sosua. I have to admit our first impression of this town wasn't good we felt out of place, it was loud, dirty, too... More
