OK, so Sosua has a bit of a reputation on the island as a party place but we were very impressed with the public beach when we stayed in Cabarete last year and passed through Sosua on our way to a deep sea fishing excursion. So we returned and booked a room at the Piergiorgio Palace. First of all, the... More

We did not stay here but we went to the restaurant. Wonderful waitor. Pricing was similar to home. View was gorgeous. The lobby architecture is well worth a look. Lovely venue for a wedding. Take offs and landings from POP can been seen in the distance (not heard). Beautiful sunsets.

The hotel is located in a fantastic location on top of a cliff overlooking the Caribbean. The hotel has a mediterranean construction, very European. Great friendly staff and service. The owner Marissa was very friendly and nice . The rooms overlook the ocean . Liked the balconies where you can enjoy a great italian cuisine and a bottle of wine... More

This hotel is in a great location and the dining area and views are quite nice. The lobby is also very nice. The rooms are tired. They need a good paint job. We had to have 2 things fixed in the rooms (a nail sticking out of a bed and a door handle that fell off). They fixed them, but... More

A large property with much to offer. rooms are very nice, great food, and superb ocean views. Love the little bar and dining area, relaxed as I watched the ocean and retreated there during a small rainstorm. especially nice with their great staff. Welcoming, accomodating and fun. It's out of the way, secluded just enough but close to the action... More

We were staying in Santiago de los Cabelleros when we decided an ocean break was in order. We randomly picked this hotel based on Expedia availability. Boy were we happy! Yes it is a bit run down, but come on, this is the Dominican Republic! If you are looking for 5 star or even 4 star, go to the resorts... More

A nice place with a wonderful view to the sea. I loved it, it was very good. It has a stunning view to the ocean. I was just hanging out with my family for the area of Puerto Plata, Sosua and Cabarete, and the night surprised us. We did not have any hotel reservation, so, we called this hotel and... More

This was my second visit to this hotel this year. I stayed here two nights in January and ten nights in April. The main attraction in Sosua is the beach. If you are an ocean swimmer or snorkeler, this is a terrific beach for you -- easy entry, good depth, super clear water, and a very close reef. Unlike most... More

My father and I stayed here for one night at the beginning of April. Luckily this was just a stop over before we went to our resort for the rest of the week. For one night it was doable but I would never have stayed there if it was for more than that. When you first arrive you are greeted... More

Another reviewer sighted fading elegance and this I feel is correct. Its a stunning locale right out of a James Bond movie or from Starwars when they are on princess "whatchamacallits" planet that looks like something from a Maxwell Parrish painting with rich Caribbean color pallet. I've eaten and had drinks here a few times and enjoyed my meals each... More
