This resort is located Sosua. The resort's location couldn't before perfect, Sandy beach, clear, calm waters, and a view of the beautiful mountains. On the other hand, the resort is not kept at all. The resort has it's own private beach which is extremely dirty, there are cups, straws and garbage everywhere near the resort. The staff sits around and... More

I stayed at the Casa Marina Reef March 23 2014 and had a fabulous time, this resort is older but has tons of charm. The views of the beach = breathtaking The food is okay, breakfast the best can't mess up breakfast lol buffet is good one perk is Sousa City is literally outside the gates, I bought several purses... Hi there. We are a "fourty something" couple. Who are not into fine dining. And enjoy getting out & about meeting the Dominican people. Our stay at the CMR in May was, overall, very good. Check in was reasonably quick, slight problem with our room allocation but this was put right the very next day. The reception staff were allways... More

Let me start off with how impress I am to see how big the resort was considering the lobby is so simple. I like the soft brown sand in the beach and the open beach scenery while we are having breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet. We came with children and we do appreciate the hardwork of the entertainers... More

Liked this resort very much. It is right in town and you can mingle with the locals. Most nights the buffet was good, sometimes very good and when it wasn't we ate at Bailey's in town. Only tried the Italian ala cart and didn't enjoy it. We never had to wait in line for a beverage - bartenders were great.... More

It was our first all inclusive trip ever for my girls and I. And we sure did pick a good resort. Not only the fact that it was inexpensive but the food, staff and resort was great. Thanks to the chef for making such an amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I gain 5lbs because of their delicious food. The guys... More

We have been at the Casa Marina 6 times, the last time was for 2 weeks in February 2014. The beach is beautiful, the grounds are well looked after. It is nice that the resort is right in town. The negative would be the rooms should be more updated, especially with some drawers for clothes. We keep coming back to the Casa Marina... More

We recently stayed for 7 nights. We have been to Puerto Plata (Blue Bay) and others as well as Punta Cana. Punta Cana has gotten very expensive. Mostly new and no mountains. All resorts, no locals. We loved the grounds. The rooms were not bad, the beds really comfortable. Being a quieter time of the season it was abit dull... More

The casa marina was a wonderful vacation. The food was excellent and we never went hungry. The water was beautiful, the land scape was amazing, and the entertainment was fun. The staff are very polite, friendly, and outgoing. The room was very basic, but the resort did they're best to accommodate your needs. We went on an excursion with Mathel... More
