Booked in at Villa Taina, stayed for only TWO nights out of 5 booked, customer service is the WORST I have ever experienced. They charge $50 USD deposit on old well used beach towels, check in procedure was awful, charged my credit card THREE times, customer service staff are rude, it took forever to get our towel deposit back after... Lovely hotel, wonderful staff and a fine restaurant. The hotel is situated directly on the beach with fantastic wind and kite surfing. We spent a terrific week at the hotel and can gladly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Taina and we are most def coming back. The staff working there are very friendly and we felt safe at all times. The beach was amazing and watching people kite was funny. The rooms were modern, clean and the beds were comfortable. We partied on the beach with people we met and had an... More

I tried to find a comfortable place, to acclimate to the area. This was it! The rooms were modern, clean, convenient and comfy. The sheets and blankets were white & bleached clean (couldnt say that about any of the other three places we stayed). Breakfast was delish, everyday. My beau and I did a lot of traveling and adventuring, so... More

The rooms were really noisy both daytimne and during the night, we were not able to get any rest at all during our stay. Traffic disturbance, lousy front desk service, 50USD were stolen by the cleaning ladies, you could hear the next room guest sitting on the toilet, avoid this place!

With a perfect location on the beach in Cabarete Villa Taina has a lot that talks for it. And we liked our room, the very nice breakfast (it is not included) and everything else except one thing. After a rain we had a smell of sewer in our room that lasted for several hours, The draining was insufficient. But during... More

Hotel is good, basic, clean rooms. Good location right at the beachfront. Small pool. Restaurant service is kinda mixed. Some of the staff don't pay much attention, some are even quite unfriendly small things become quickly great issues. All in all good value for money.

My family stayed here for from Thursday-Monday, for a nice weekend to defrost from NY. Upon arrival we were graded to a penthouse room, which was nice but since there is no elevator it could be a problem for some. (Huge balcony area). Everyone we met from the hotel was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the restaurant but... More
