Quiet, artistic, good Food With a different touch, good service and lovely exotic environment. The rooms are less interesting, but good and clean. All in all a wonderful place you might not expect to find in busy bordertown Tapachula.

We stayed in this beautiful, serene oasis in Tapachula, a city seemingly little visited by tourists. From the street you would never guess what lies inside the walls. Interesting eclectic and artesania art works adorn all the public spaces. Our room was decorated with old photos of Latin American film stars. The shower and bathroom were perfectly comfortable after a... More

Worth spending my whole days budget on a beautiful room with delicious breakfast with coffee included, with a welcome drink on arrival....Owner spoke perfect English and he and staff assisted me in organising the easiest travel route across to Guatemala. Room was gorgeous, as was whole hotel - full of art. Highly recommend breaking your backpacker budget for one night!

Casa Mexicana is truly an oasis of beauty and calm in a noisy , hot and commercial border town. It has a private collection of unigue mexican artwork and crafts all tastefully displayed throughout the hotel . The blue tiled pool is in the middle of a courtyard surrounded by a lush tropical garden. So refreshing after a long hot... More

We stayed here at the end of December 2014 on our driving trip from Guatemala to the States and it was a welcoming place after driving all day long. The staff was very courteous and accommodating; very service oriented. The hotel offers parking as well; they have approx. 3 spaces available. Unlike another reviewer we didn't experience any trouble parking... More

Nice, beautiful. Located in a crowded avenue due to public transit, near Tapachula downtown. Bad parking lot, I just got an scratch trying to get, without hotel help. If you travel driving a car, forget this hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Boutique Casa Mexicana in July with 2 business associates. Not only does this place have character, it is loaded with ART in an environment that will not disappoint discerning travelers. Mind you this is not Polanco (Mexico City), but Casa Mexicana has an excellent chef and staff so personable that you will feel like family. The... More

Gorgeous hotel, absolutely full of beautiful artwork and one of pieces from around Mexico. We stayed inside the hotel for the entire weekend, because of the exquisite food, drinks, and cheerful service. Excellent wifi speed.
