This hotel is a serious risk to Gringo travelers and anyone who chooses to use their dining room, etc. While using the dining room with 2 colleagues we were targeted by a very organized thief who managed to make off with everything I had and get past no less than 7 hotel employees. The 3 of us all agree that some of the hotel staff might have been involved or at least knew and did nothing to stop the thief even though they witnessed his theft of my belongings and at least 5 hotel staff on the doors let him pass without issue. Reviewing the security tape later when we knew this man was on camera it was just too convenient how they could never rewind back accurately to the time on the tape where we all witnessed teh thief facing into the camera very clearly. The hotel staff also were dishonest about having called the police and never did. Nor did they do anything whatsoever to make amends, offer any assistance whatsoever.
