When we arrived Chetumal, this was one of the first places we have seen and since we planned to leave early morning next day its location right next to the bus terminal plus the reasonable price of 400M$ suited us just fine. The rooms are basic: spacious with two double beds, TV, aircon and private bathroom. Clean beds and sheets,... More

When you enter the hotel you get nice impression of what looks like a great hotel. Nice big lobby. Restaurant just behind it and a very warm welcome by the two ladies... when you go up the stairs on your way to your room everything looks great.. you enter the room and see a big king size bed which you... The place is in a good location, has a nice and safe parking and the man at the reception is friendly and very helpful. The room though was not what we expected from a 3 star hotel: the bed stank old linen, a strong smell that bothered me all night long, and the room's door could be easily unlocked from... More

We have been traveling through honduras and belize so weren't expected to much from this hotel just looking for something cheap but it was one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we have stayed at! nice hand written card/soap/chocolate on the bed and for 30usd a night you can't beat it!! would recommend!

Lady at the front desk was nice and spoke English and explained the area for us, rooms were big but felt like a giant bathroom as it was all tiled, bathroom was ok, a/c worked and room was clean. Location is good right near the main museum. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Wifi a bit patchy and hard to... More

It is a very simple hotel, fine to rest your head for a night but I would not recommend it for a multiple night stay. Limited wifi in rooms, no windows and loud air conditioning. However, the restaurant offers good value for money and the location is fantastic.

I stayed in Chetumal for a few nights. The first night I stayed in hotel ucum - so bad I wouldn't even shower there! So I went on a search the following day and found. The Real Azteca. Excellent location (literally next door to the museum) room had everything we needed: TV, AirCon, Hot shower, Wifi in the room, Towels.... More

The Hotel is near the port, so great if you're thinking about heading over to Belize. Otherwise the main bus station is a 10 minute taxi ride away for around 20 pesos. Rooms need some TLC and are pretty worn, but good value if you just want somewhere to rest for a night or two. The manager there is lovely... More

The best point about this place was the friendly reception and the little attached restaurant where we were able to get delicious tacos after 9pm after a long bus journey. There's a shop nearby where you can buy a couple of beers to have with your meal. It seems like a safe place and it's convenient for taxis to the... More
