Beautiful place, good to relax, spend a weekend or use it as base to visit a lot of nice close alternatives like, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Tequisquiapan, Peña de Bernal, Querétaro, among others. In side you will find good service, and alternatives to eat or drink some thing, nice pool, and tennis courses (soft), you can run around, rent... More

We traveled to FAHC in March of 2013 for a family wedding. I was intrigued to stay at this location as the bride's family had owned and lived in the Hacienda in the early 1900's. The art work and antiques displayed gave an idea of the religious ideas and values that dictated life at the Hacienda. The open air courtyards... More

Hacienda Galindo is a wonderful old Hacienda complete with history (and even some ghost stories) which you can appreciate in the old plantation environment and the colonial art. I was impressed at how they have made the hotel wheelchair accessible, which is not a common feature in Mexico. The food was very good, and they make these homemade all-bran muffins... More

I really don't like the bathroom, it was old and poor in comfort. For such a resort, it is unbelievable that they charge you money for a bottle of water in the room, since the tap water is not drinkable. The room was large with two double bed (double, not queen) and was clean and quiet. Wi-Fi internet was not... More

This place is an "hacienda" built in the 16th century. If you are looking for a restored place, with character, this hotel IS NOT the place. The rooms are in a 30-year-old building, with a terrible decor. The only thing that is still there is the little church. The pool is great. The patio and gardens are worth a walk.... More

! stayed 1 night to check on this Hotel for a future Business Group meeting. The construction is impressive, based on the foundation of a Historic Mexican Hacienda. It is very well conserved, with deco that data also from those old days of Mexico History; the property take you to those old days of wealth 4 centuries ago. The green... More

Last Sunday we met with 2 friends for brunch. We had heard lot's of rave reviews about the food and normally we do not do brunch but decided to check it out. So glad we did. Fiesta Americana is actually a Hacienda which is over 500 years old. The grounds are beautiful and you can stay at the Hotel. It... More

Agree with the other reviews. It is like being in a living museum, very beautiful property. Those who say it is not modern may be right, but that is sort of the point. Location is somewhat isolated, but within an hour's drive of a number of interesting places, or just relaxing there is also an option. We were there on... More

This hotel is a converted hacienda that was built by Hernan Cortez for his mistress. It is a massive facility with a huge dining room, outdoor dining, olympic pool, and riding stables. There are also ping pong and pool tables for the kids while you have a beer in the hotel bar. Check-in was efficient although the bellhops disappeared when... More

An old hacienda adapted to be an excelent hotel, for families or couples. Supposedly was given to La Malinche, the native indian woman who assisted Hernan Cortes in his conquest by the man himself. Sort or baroque style with all the amenities one would want. Lots of space for kids to wander around, lovely views from the different rooms in... More
