On my driving holidays from Malaysia into Thailand I much prefer to stay in Songkla rather than Hat Yai. Hat Yai is bustling, noisy and the sex trade is much more overt while Songkla is quiet and easier to navigate. I normally stay for one night only so I prefer a downtown hotel, close to the restaurants and away from... More

Whoever called this a cockroach hotel was right. This is also not the place you want to be if you wish for any sleep at all. There are people singing karaoke late in the night so awfully that even earplugs can't block out the din. No one picks up when you call the reception. And when you finally get someone... More

Reasonable price. Breakfasts were ok. Ok place to stay as I was on business. Staff did not seem overly helpful but may have been due to language. Don't think I would take my family here as there did not seem much to do locally.

Stayed for a week for business. Far from the beach or any reputable shops/ amenities/ attractions. Cockroaches in the room. For WiFi, you need a new voucher/ticket for several sessions. Breakfast was so-so. There's a pool at level 5 but seems to be under-used. Hotel has a car to take you to places if you need to but plan early... More

I have stayed in this hotel for a number of times. I travel mainly for business varying from one night to one week at a time. They have two types of rooms that i have stayed in - the superior room and junior suites. Superior room - The carpet, toilet, curtains are old and run down. I specifically hate their... More

The hotel is rather far from the main interesting places in Songkhla but the renovated rooms are nice an clean. Junior suites especially are worth a try. The restaurant has no interest what so ever. Staff is OK but not specially friendly.

I have stayed at this hotel on and off for seven years. Recently, in the last year or so, it has been refurbished. New carpet and paint in rooms and retiled bathrooms. It is actually a lot nicer now. Food can be mediocre at times but ok. Plenty of restaurants around so no real need to eat in the hotel.... More

There are many things to see in Songkhla so try staying outside the hussle and bussle of Hat Yai. This hotel is about 5 to 10 mins from Samila Beach and you can be at the Reclining Buddha on Ko Yo in 15 mins. It is quite a big hotel in a quiet side street off Saiburi Road. The Wyoming... More
