we had the deluxe river view room at second floor which is spacious somewhat clean and the balcony is the best spot to see sunrise on mekong river. room and service is good, but cleanliness is average, breakfast is average. when we arrive at the room, i wanted to use the kettle and found that it has many god-know-what-it-is in... The Siam Triangle is a very nice Hotel EXCEPT for the fact that the noise of the AC units make you feel like you are in the middle of a train yard. VERY NOISY. We had to turn ours off at mid night , just so we could sleep. Even then, the vibrations of the AC units in other rooms... More

If it hadn’t been for the large comfy beds and wonderful views, we would have given the Siam Triangle Hotel 2 stars instead of 3. We didn’t have high expectations of our stay here, but thought it would be perfectly fine for two nights. The room itself was quite spacious, with a comfortable bed and, most importantly, a great balcony... More

This hotel has a 5-star view and rooms have a balcony to enhance the enjoyment of the view of the Mekong River and Laos. The design of the bathroom could be better, but the rest of the room is nicely appointed and includes a refrigerator that has a few stocked items including Thai beer. We did encounter a few problems... More

River view rooms are well worth the extra cost - sunrise over the Mekong river can be stunning. The rooms are well fitted out, although the glass doors to the bathroom and toilet don't provide much privacy, so it might be an issue. There's a decent size balcony with table and chairs too. Probably one of the best hotels on... More

Upon arrival we had very mixed feelings. No help with luggage, we parked on the street outside as we did not see anywhere else to park, then we were shown to our room which was very nice, lovely views, big spa bath, great view. We went down to the restaurant for dinner and we were the only people there, but... More

We were initially torn between this hotel and the Serene in Sob Ruak (aka the Golden Triangle). On paper they seemed identical, as both are multi-storey 3-star affairs boasting river views. Moreover, not only do they each have their own pool, but both seemed remotely located outside of town. In hindsight it really shouldn't have been so difficult a choice.... More

Most of the accomodations in Chiang Saen seem to be a little bit strange, if you read the reviews anyway. So we needed a lot of time to decide where to live. The decision on this hotel was quite right. We got a special price because it was winter and not much tourists in the area and had a beautiful,... More

Our third vacation in Chiang Saen and our best hotel in Chiang Saen. We booked 3 nights in a deluxe room (river view) for 1.550bt/night, including breakfast at hotels2thailand.com (pay in advance). Same rooms at Agoda or Booking.com are much more expensive, almost double my price. This 2 years new hotel has been built on the Mekong river bank, 50... More
