It is a 5 star hotel. The garden in front of the hotel is very well maintained and the landscape is beautiful. Looking down from the balcony of the room, the sight of the garden is admirable. Looking across the road , one sees trees, rocks, mountain range and the clear sky. Standing there in the early morning with the... More

Despite the old design and 'lack of renovation', this hotel is clean and comfortable. The balcony view is great too. But the breakfast choices are so limited, you can only opt for western style or the eastern Korean style. But the food is quite decent. In overall, not bad.

I stayed there for a night. the big bed room with kitchen part feel like a home. don't go with high expectation. the minimart and game zone located underground. lacking of wifi signal, old furnish, steel door. by the way, mountain sightseeing is very nice.

We were really hesitant to stay at this hotel after seeing all the bad reviews, but we aren't super fancy people and love camping and had our 4 kids with us, so we were mostly just looking for a good cheap place to sleep after a long day exploring/sightseeing near the locations we wanted to see. This was PERFECT for... More

We stayed at Sorak Park Hotel for three nights last week. We are delighted to have book this hotel for your visit to Mt Soraksan National Park. It is worth every won that we paid. I booked a triple room though expedia.com at US133 per night without breakfast or about US45 per person. They gave us a room on the... More

The only thing this place has going is its proximity to Seorak park and it's views from the balcony. I'm sure this was THE place to be in the 70's but the place is in desperate need of renovations. Wifi was good. towels were new. the rooms were pretty clean. There are tons of other places to stay in the... More

Hotel is pretty dated, but is still doing well. The rooms are huge, love their futons instead of beds. The view at the balcony is stunning. You can see mountains and forest all over, breakfast is a so so there. Nothing much you can do as there is no other places for you to eat around at that area (unless... More

This hotel is completly outdated. Tube TV, no wifi connection in the rooms, furniture and decoration from the seventies (or before)... It's a big building but I had the impression only a few rooms were occupied (now I now why). The bathroom is okay, but the bath tub is really slippy so you have to take care not to fall.... More

Needs a complete renovation, carpets are filthy, holes in bed sheets, grubby towels and no facilities but still charging 150 USD for a double room. wifi only available in lobby, only one restaurant open for dinner. Kensington is closer to Seorak Mountain and better.

The hotel is not new but it gives me a fresh feeling as the air around is very good. As I took a cable ride up to the Soraksan mountain top, I can see the hotel from up and above (see my photo). The hotel is located near the national park so it is very convenient to go explore the... More
