It took a little effort to get a reservation here because they are not as good with English but found that email worked the best: try ruready11@hanwha.com to write to JiSun who is excellent. This is a large hotel with sparse furnishings (maybe that's why someone called it impersonal) but I found the minimalist decor soothing. I am a clean... More

Spacious resort with huge rooms, including a kitchen. Comfortable stay but unfortunately not enough time to enjoy all the facilities and the activities. Accessible to supermarket. Worth returning to! Great service staff too. Beautiful lobby during christmas too

We spent one night here before hiking the nearby mountains. It is a good deal for families as there are two rooms for sleeping-one with futons on the floor, one with a western double bed. The kitchen and bathroom were tiny. It was however fine for a base for exploring the national park.

The 2nd hotel of my 8 day tour of South Korea from 10 - 17 Dec 2013. Don't know the pricing as it was part of a tour package. I remember this place very well because when I entered, it had wooden floors instead of the usual carpeted floors. I wouldn't call this a hotel but more of an apartment... More

one thing i love about this place is that they provide a separate room with wooden tatami which was also equipped with warmer so that the tatami floor stay warm. wifi was reachable in the room and was very satisfactory. hot water and toilet seat warmer were both working properly. the room even had access to balcony. all in all... We got a special deal for the room, which made the room price seem like a fair deal. I can imagine being pretty disappointed if we had paid full price. The hotel looks very imposing as it is vast and characterless from the front. We paid 90,000 KRW for a two bedroom place. The main bedroom (with the double bed)... More

we stayed in tower 4 and probably because we are part of a tour group, we got the first floor. the balcony opened out directly to the road outside, and we are separated by just a railing! again, given that its winter, the hotel air-conditioning isn't on and we have to open the door. but we cant leave it open... We took the express bus from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal (close to 3 hours journey) and then a cab from Sokcho Bus Terminal to the hotel (15 mins). Seorak Waterpia and the Cinerama are within the resort huge complex and the scenery surround the hotel is just beautiful. The room is big and its more like a 2 bedrooms small... More

Our family of 04 stayed for 2 nights x 2 rooms during our December vacation to Jeju and Seoul. First impression upon arrival is WOW! The place is very well maintained and the rooms are sparkling clean, bright and welcoming. The rooms comes with a queen size bed as well as tatami if one chooses to sleep on the heated... More

I stayed in Hanwha Resort last december (12/13). When I first stepped into the room, I was shocked! The room was huge! Also, there are cooking utensils for you to whip up a meal! You can get your groceries from the supermarket located at B1 (if I am not wrong). There is also an induction stove and rice cooker! The... More
