It is the only hotel within the national park. As I did two-day hiking, I decided to stay at this hotel with shortest distance to the park. Facilities: quite old with antique feel. Staff: friendly and helpful, they provide us map to show hiking routes and direction Restaurant: one restaurant (never try) and one cafe (not bad) Price: high comparative... More

We spent 2 nights here in Oct. 2013, and it is one of our fondest vacation memories. The bus ride itself from Seoul to Sokcho was super-comfortable and took us thru gorgeous rolling countryside. From the Sokcho bus stop it's easy to catch a cab to take you right to the park. The hotel is rustic, lodge-like, and charming, situated... More

I have stayed at this hotel before about 11 months ago. I found it dated but clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. HOWEVER, there is little point in continuing to review because I had been booked to stay here over the coming weeks and I received an email today saying my reservation had been cancelled because the hotel would... It was a really long journey here yesterday after taking a bus from Seoul and then transfer to a local bus in Sokcho before reaching the national park! Upon our check in, we noticed that the hotel was kind of run down and the room with faulty doors and also the toilet had two centipedes inside. :/ as we arrived... More

The hotel is inside the park. If you enjoy nature and hiking, please do not do a one day trip to Seoraksan. I stayed for two nights but even that I thought it was not enough. I could only do the Biseondae trail and took the cable car up the mountain to the Gwongeumgseong Fortress. The beauty of autumn foliage... More

PROs: 1. very convenient if you plan to spend a day or two trekking in Seoraksan. It is the only hotel inside the park grounds; helpful if you want to get a headstart from the daily crowd 2. Although the hotel is old and dated - it is still ok and in good condition. We appreciate the heated floor esp... More

We stayed 2 nights in Oct after reading the reviews and we are glad that we made the right choice. This is the only hotel inside the park, making it extremely convenient. We are inside the park before the weekend crowd comes in. When tired after a long day's walk, we don't need to squeeze in the public transport nor... More

Good hotel with very very helpful receptionist. Fist of all I was given all the advice I needed way in advance my trip. I lot a lot of safer that I am going to right place especially that I was going there all by myself and I knew I would come there late in the night. Room was in good... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and the room had the most beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The location is inside the national park, making is super convenient if the stay is short. We could just start hiking early in the morning as all the trails start nearby. The room was clean, had all the necessary amenities.... More

The location is good being inside the park, close to the cable car etc. Mr Kwak was very helpful and had good advice for treks to take. The beds were clean but the room standard is not very good. The hotel is in need of a makeover and a lift or two would not be a bad idea! Not a... More
