The worst thing there... More

After our initial check in to our room found it to have s damp smell, due in part to the recent typhoon and the rain but once we were able to air the room it became quite comfortable. Towels are not the freshest or softest and don't expect to have face towels unless you are in the executive rooms, (... More

The Oriental was the host hotel for the ASEAN Summit, which is a very big deal. To impress the visiting dignitaries and convey the Philippines' confidence, the Oriental was renovated and upgraded. It sits on the hillside with a spectacular view, and it looks thoroughly modern. But like the fake town the townsfolk erect in Blazing Saddles to fool their... More

The staff are very nice and friendly. Our suite is very clean. Breakfast buffet is just okay, hot chocolate is not included (should be ordered separately). There's also a bit of disappointment as the pool is under renovation from the day we arrived til we checked out. Also, only one lift is working, so you really have to wait or... More

We got a better price by reserving on agoda than we did directly at the hotel. Although we reserved cheaper rooms (not facing the volcano) we were put into the... More
