Stayed overnight for business. Room was spacious, with twin double beds. What I didnt like was that the shower has low water pressure to takes a long time to finish bath. Aside fron this, hot water fluctuates and may disappear during shower. Breakfast was buffet style, mostly the usual Filipino breakfast fare (tapa, dried fish, sauteed noodles, porridge), they also... Twin Rooms are nice, clean and have all amenities - tv, bar fridge, small aircon unit, cupboards, towels and complimentary toiletries. We unfortunately came when typhoon Glenda hit which meant no satellite for the tv and no wifi - We spent most of our day outdoors and had unlimited data on our phones anyway, so this was never a problem.... We went to Legazpi to see the famous volcano Mt. Mayon. It was overcast during the entire time so it was even the more important to have a nice hotel for the night and the St. Ellis absolutely did that. The entrance is light and welcoming, the staff are all most friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had no booking but... More

We had a 3-region Information Summit early this month. Hotel personnel and staff were able to put everyone in their rooms, fed them, and kept them safe. They must have worked so hard to do all those things considering they have other functions and clients. St. Eliis is not a very huge hotel but is definitely one of the hotels... More

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 2 nights this July 2014. I was looking for a hotel that is affordable within the city. I booked through Direct Rooms and paid only 690 pesos to reserve and the rest are payable to the hotel. I received a call from the front desk as soon as I finished making... More

Enjoyed 2 nights in this hotel. Deluxe rooms had ample space for an extra bed and some luggage (even after 18 years I have not figured out a way to travel light!). The hotel is right smack in the center of Legazpi City and about 10 minutes from the airport. Gemma of Guest Services was most helpful. She booked our... More

Hotel St. Ellis has been suggested by OAP as an excellent hotel to stay in while in Legazpi and I fully agree with Anton. The staff answered our email enquiry within the day and we got a same day reservation. When we arrived at Legazpi airport , our transfer was already waiting. It was 10-15 min drive to the hotel.... I had a very good experience in st ellis. Were there end may when all the blackouts were happening. We mostly ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I must say they have excellent desserts - try the pili nut cheesecake. For breakfast - the servers were able to help me me have less oil on my ommellette and... More
