Hotel with few rooms equals quiet, relaxing place. The dining area has a beautiful view of the lake, chairs though need to be improved--there should be more sitting areas where people can just relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was very good, and so was our dinner at the private garden in our room, but, again, we wished there were... More

awesome room!, awesome view!,awesome service!, awesome food!, and awesome and honest people! :-) one of the house-keeper (Sorry forgot his name) was checking the room upon checking-out, he found my wallet and pouch!! (inside the closet/cabinet where i left it) we were already by the lobby/resto area waiting for our ride, he came running and handed me my wallet and... More

Stayed here during my birthday. It was a pretty bed and breakfast. Remember the show Shabby Chic? This place reminds me of that because of the cute and quaint furnishings. It really makes you feel like you're at a bed and breakfast...it even has a canopy bed! I got the room with the mini garden...it has a great view of... More

I was looking for a place to visit that I could drive to from Manila. I did a search for hotels and found Joaquin's Bed and Breakfast. I picked this for the price and the favorable reviews. I have to say when I arrived I was in awe from the view from the patio near the front desk. It was... More

Stayed here overnight and all of us loved the place. We arrived just in time for the checki n and we were given welcoming drinks. When we first got the the room it smelled like we were at a spa. It was very cozy and relaxing. The sheets were clean and smelled great too. When we went out the garden... More

Its a Bed and Breakfast charging hotel prices. The rooms were shabby and small although to be fair the AC, hot shower and cable TV were the plus. Breakfast was nice but small portions. The location is good as you can walk to robinsons supermarket. Downside is expensive transportation costs that the hotel charge to and from the Manila. The... More

We checked in last May 2 and arrived quite early since we’re supposed to check in at 2:00 pm or onwards. Fortunately, the staff warmly welcomed us with complimentary drinks, enough to keep us busy until they let us in our room, which was around 12:45 pm. Upon seeing the family suite, we initially thought that the room was too... More

This is one of the places where you can take a piece of Taal landscape. I like the peaceful environment away from noise coming from the city. Though the cleanliness of the room fell short of our expectations, the overall quality of the stay was very good. It is recommended for any one who wants to escape the city-life/cityscape. Minor... For someone who wants to enjoy the view and climate of Tagaytay away from the crowd, this is a very nice, quaint bed and breakfast area where you would surely enjoy. The food is good and reasonable, the area relaxing and romantic --- good for couples who would want to enjoy quality time together away from the stress. The only... More

The first impression I had upon stepping into Joaquin's Bed & Breakfast is that the place felt worn down and needed a facelift. It was only later that I realized that the owner is trying to evoke a shabby, rustic ambience, especially in the rooms. I could live with that. I stayed with my family for two nights, and the...
