The place is very accessible, we rode a bus and got off at a gasoline station, crossed the street and a few steps you could see Joaquin's b&b. We decided to stay here to have a peace and quiet new year. Hubs and I are allergic to smoke so we escaped the noise and pollution in Manila. Check-in was smooth... More

After spending some time in a residential neighborhood of Metro Manila, it is a great thing you can relatively easily find a quiet and relaxing getaway only a couple of hours away. Joaquin's Bed and Breakfast offers you just that. Arriving using the Aguinaldo Highway through the Rotunda neighborhood gives you a chaotic welcome to Tagaytay, and to be honest,... More

Celebrated anniversary with my special someone here at this Tagaytay hotel. The view of the Taal volcano, the Binintiang Malaki rather (Yes, the iconic volcano is not Taal volcano, it is somewhere behind Bintiang Malaki. Well, enough of facts.), is majestic. You can have the most perfect view of the famous volcano. And you have to take note of their... More

Been staying hear for new year's eve for the 4th yr now. Every year they just add a little more charm to the place. The staff and service have always been consistent. Its one of their assets, definitely. There are a lot of new hotels in the area this time around but they all seem very impersonal. Joaquin's gives you... More

The rooms provide enough privacy so you don't get bothered bout the other guests and the view from the rooms is amazing. The rooms have a very cozy feel to it and it is a good place to stay in for a romantic weekend getaway. The staff is very friendly. You can have your breakfast at the balcony in your... More

We booked their Deluxe King Room with Balcony for a post-exam R & R, and Joaquin's did not disappoint! PROS: Service: Staff was attentive, efficient, and polite. We were served a refreshing pandan and mint welcome drink. Interior: Their quirky mix of travel souvenirs, witty posters and shabby chic finishes and furniture make you forget that you're still in the... More

Got the family room, which was good for 4 with breakfast. To our amazement our room was just like the owner's. Wide sliding door so you won't miss the beautiful view of Taal. Not only that, our patio was very very big. The more to refresh with the cool breeze and quiet night; just what you want in a vacation.... More

We stayed overnight, weekend. The place is charming and upon entering the premises going to the room the smell is very inviting. The place is clean, well maintained. The rooms are nicely decorated and the amenities are complete. The view of taal from the room is magnificent. Breakfast is delicious especially the hot chocolate. The staffs are friendly and courteous.... More

Our trip to Tagaytay was a bit disappointing. That was mainly because of the weather. We booked two adjoining garden rooms to get a really nice view of the lake but it was cloudy when we got there. If only we can predict the weather at the time of booking. We booked a few weeks ahead btw. The view of... More
