We stayed for one night at this BB with a party of 5 so we had to get the family suite but I suggest reserving rooms on the lower or middle decks as they have better, unobstructed views of the lake and volcano. Location is optimal as it is situated along the main highway. Rooms (with country-style decor) are clean,... More

If you want a quiet, homey place to stay in Tagaytay, this is it. It has also one of the best clear views of Taal Volcano and Taal Lake. You will feel that you are staying in a garden, and the rooms are elegant! Their restaurant which serves delicious Filipino and foreign dishes, overlooks the best of Taal Lake. You... More

i really had a great time in their place. it is secluded in a manner that you will surely have a good meal anytime of the day. The place is very relaxing that you won't feel away from home. They have courteous and welcoming staffs. I will surely be back here and recommend to friends as well. Kudos to the... More

It was one of those weekends when I had to plan something special for BF, who was staying in Manila for a few weeks then. He's always charmed by Tagaytay so we decided to spend a weekend there. I was scanning through BNBs and found a list of overpriced ones. Yes, as expensive as Shangri-La Makati per night!!! Lucky me,... More

Joaquin's BnB has a very unassuming appearance at the entrance, but the moment you set foot into their aviary area, a whole new world opens out for you. The calm ambience along with different decor instantly connects with you. We stayed in the upper rooms which gave a picturesque view of the Taal lake along with a series of small... More

We decided to spend another night at Tagaytay after coming from a nearby Batangas resort. We rang up Joaquin's and they luckily had room for us. We got the room with a small garden (the extra money for this room is worth it). The staff was very helpful! They carried all our bags down the stairs and believe me, we... More

What I loved most of Joaquin's is the country/beach/garden theme design of the furniture and exterior sorrounding. So unique and real creative. You will love the birds tweeting at the outdoor dining area. Plus the great view of Taal Lake. The rooms are perfect and the scented candle! It is so romantic. Very good for couples. I would like to... More

Can't say anything bad about this place. Their complimentary drinks were good. The staff is always there and helpful. The view is great. Really clean and cozy place to stay at. The only thing that didn't really go well was the lock on the bathroom door which had a problem, but other than that everything was great.

Very good, home-feel, rustic rooms. Very good, filling breakfast. I chose this hotel mainly because all the rooms have a view of Taal lake. If particular about views, get a room with garden. Got a bit disappointed with the shrubs that obstructed the view from our garden, though. Stayed at L2. They should keep them trimmed. I almost crossed our... More

Joaquin's has the best view of Taal. Waking up at 5am, pulling the curtains, and there is Taal lake with the best view of the sun rising from the east. Simply magnificent. We booked the Deluxe garden room for 2 nights, and I'm glad we decided on that instead of the veranda. We stayed with our 8yr old son who... More
